Don't Give Up I know YOU can make it

Hi Everyone

I hope you've had an incredible April and are looking forward to the month of May, whether it's Autumn or Spring on your side of the globe.

I had my BEST month to-date in my online business and you would think I would have been ecstatic yesterday but instead, I was feeling disappointed.

The sting of disappointment

I felt disappointed in myself because, I had not made the income target I set for myself of $1000... yet again.

Sure, I got closer than I have ever been.

I earned $884, with 4 payments outstanding from clients which would have brought the total to $955. (My highest month before this was $724).

But you know what they say... a miss is as good as a mile.

I can't claim to have had my first $1000 month because I haven't cracked that target yet. It eludes me yet again.

A shift of mindset

Then while I was wallowing in my disappointment this happened...

I discovered an email from a High Authority site asking if they could mention one of my posts in (with attribution) in a piece they're working on.

I thought WOW. Would I ever? What a pleasure.

I brightened up instantly.

And, of course, replied with a YES, please go ahead!

After all, that kind of thing doesn't happen every day. At least not to me. It's the first time anyone's ever asked me that.

Niiice.

And that's not all.

The Turn Around

Today something happened that blew all thoughts of my income target away.

And it happened on LinkedIn.

Remember that little experiment I've been doing on LinkedIn for a while? Building super-niche connections of power women, digital entrepreneurs, motivational speakers, bestselling authors et al.

Well, LinkedIn is working for me. Big Time.

This morning I received a message from a company to invite me to be a Speaker at the Entrepreneurs Indaba, an Event in Cape Town on 25th May.

I was blown away!

The income target is just by the by. My real target is building Authority as a Speaker and Author. That's where I see myself. That's what I envisage as my future.

I have a message and I want to share it with the world.

A message of hope for those who feel they want to let go of the daily grind, the rush-hour traffic, the lost time with their spouse, parents and children, the pressure, the negativity in the workplace, the glass ceiling, the fears of being made redundant, the mounting bills etc etc

I want to teach people the wonders of Digital Entrepreneurship and how it can SET. YOU. FREE. In time. If you're willing to give it your all and keep on keeping on.

Please Don't Give Up

You may be at the stage of your online business development where you're feeling despondent. Disappointed. Frustrated. Overwhelmed. Your path may not be clear yet.

But if your vision is clear. And you have passion. If you know who you want to serve and you're out there doing it.

Please know that your work is not going unnoticed. People are picking up what you're putting down (to quote Mailchimp). People and companies out there are noticing your influence.

And opportunities are on their way to you.

My message for today is this:

Please don't give up. I know YOU Can Make it.

The only way to fail in this game is to stop.

Please stay the course. Don't give up just before the crest of the hill.

Tomorrow something magical may happen for you, something that makes you realise you're on the right track.

Look for the signs. Notice when they appear.

I believe in YOU.
