only I am such a stickler for perfection...the site is fine and I should develop another site but until people can just click and respond to me I will not be satisfied...I don't think any of us should be satisfied with having to make phone calls in order to make a sale.

You'll need a PayPal business account and then you can get payment buttons. You'll find all the help you need to set this up at PayPal.
I called them right, and it sounded like they really wanted me to use there buttons, supposing that it is just a way to be helpful. Only WA gives you buttons...couldn't I just link the accounts by giving them my website and saying this site is my business and I am looking for you all to connect my accounts.
That's not the way affiliate marketing works. You send your visitors to your affiliate partner's website using an affiliate link and they pay where they buy the product or service. Then your affiliate partner pays you. You don't collect the money unless it's your own product that you're selling.

oh ok cool, well my site is going crazy right now...one minute it seems to be fine, the next it seems to block me out
I use several methods. On WordPress I use PayPal and Woo-commerce. When a customer pays it shoos up immediately on my PayPal balance and accounts.... once I did not have pay pal set up properly and the money just disappeared.
Through Amazon, ClickBank and Walmart, they get the money first and my commission shows up later. To see my commissions I must go to my affiliate areas.

How exactly would I go about getting websites to join me or I to join a website?
To join a website you just sign up. I'm not sure what you mean to get a website to join you, that's usually not done.
But they have a category where they leave it rather open ended.

there are multiple categories that insinuate there are other means to increase your referrals?

I really have not found a solution so I am trying to touch base with site support but everytime I use a plugin it seems the information is either obsolete or i have to go somewhere other than Wealthy Affiliate and I am not looking to pay outside of the company for site products, I want the functionality of what they offer here. You know.
