SSL - Secure Socket Layer Certification
Calling All Technically Minded WA Members
We have just noticed that a site of ours (Not with WA as it's a domain name that WA does not support yet) does not have a valid SSL certificate. Its actually my wife`s site which is saying "not secure".
Can anybody kindly suggest the quickest and easiest way to solve this please?
Best Regards and Thank you in Anticipation.

Obviously no email to say your SSL needs to be renewed.
If you have the hosts details, then it is just a matter of logging in and buying a SSL cert for the site.
There is a small cost.
You are better off paying a few years in front.
Michael.
SSL is given by the Domain provider, You need to contact your Domain provider with regard to that issue.
Well I think its one of the training lessons in the online training, so maybe follow that and see what it brings.

Howdy,
What is the TLD (domain extension)?
Who is the website hosted with?
Who is the Registrar of the Domain Name?
Is it running WordPress?
The simple answer, is to migrate the WordPress website to WA, and to point the Domain Name's Nameservers to WA, but leave the Domain Name with the current Registrar. That way, you will have all the benefits of WA, including the SSL and SiteSupport etc.
Just for clarity. I have .co.uk and .coach domain names hosted at WA, even though you can only purchase/transfer .com .org and .net
Web Hosts are starting to offer free SSL's, and if your website is on a hosts server that uses cPanel, cPanel provide Free SSL's now, it just needs turning on.
Failing that, you can obtain a Free SSL Certificate from Let's Encrypt.
If you need anything else, let me know :-)
