Site Comments: Site Feedback & the Wonderful WA Community

Thank you.

Firstly, I wanted to say a big thank you to the many WA members who kindly checked my site for 404 errors following my blog yesterday:

Somewhat Reassuring - BUT

It was reassuring to note that most of you found there were no errors when going direct to my site whyspirulina.com

Sitefeedback/Site Comments & 404 errors continue from site comments

Unfortunately for those accessing my site to offer comments via the WA comments system, the 404 issue still remains. These are a couple of the error messages I have received today:

"I was having some trouble reaching this page, it might be a 404 issue. This might be something to look into as I really struggled to get in it but I persisted because I really wanted to learn about spirulina. I appreciate the information you've provided, it's been a real eye-opener for me. Seriously. But again, just might wanna get that possible 404 issue checked!. Thank you!"

This was from a very experienced WA member so I was particularly concerned

And from another:

"Hello dare you site look very wonderful and i would really like to visit and give you my honest comments, but I'm unable to do so since I'm seeing this "This page isn’t working right now

redirected you too many times.

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" Kindly check and see what is wrong so I can revisited to give you my kind comments on your article.."

As they both tried so hard to access my site, I´m going to edit and accept these comments so they do not lose a WA credit.

Objective - to help

The purpose of this blog is not to gripe but to help. To highlight this problem to site support as well as Kyle and Carson. These errors might in someway be tied to the problem that many of us have been having where we comment, and we are then told the site no longer exists, and so lose the WA credit, e.g:

Gripes About Sitefeedback usually refer to the quality of comments, not the technical side:

To be honest, me sense, is that site comments have improved, a bit.

These Technical Issues Need Attention

However, I think these technical problems need prompt attention.

Perhaps the excellent site support and technical back office staff are already on the case. However, just in case not, the purpose of this blog is to highlight the symptoms of the problem I`ve been having with 404 and " "This page isn’t working right now redirected you too many times."

My well-meant suggestion to Kyle and Carson is that these technical issues need to be given some priority as if not, it's going to undermine the WAs comment system further. That would be a real shame, because WA is such a fantastic platform and despite the quality of comments problems, think it's an excellent feature.

I hope this can be addressed promptly. I would welcome comments from Kyle, Carson and the technical team.
