So first let me apologize to all of you for being unavailable lately. A lot has happend these past 6 weeks, with everything in my life. I'm astounded!

So... Christmas was crazy of course, and I still work 2 jobs that are literately crippling me, however; I've been in super speed mode with my blog. You might be thinking "super speed?" that's right, I'm completely motivated and enthusiastic about the future, whereas; I never felt that before.

Some of you may remember my previous blog posts about my niche, and well I now have over 20 pages and 4 posts. I have blogged and written articles relating to the following:

• Art therapy
• Art supplies
• Various artists and art types/styles
• Charities
• Health
• Reviews
• Art classes
• Crafts and craft classes
• Business
• I also have a press release

I just went kinda crazy with it , and I have some featured artists signing contract as of now. I'm meeting with 3 so far and their portfolio will go live as early as next week! This first year only I'm not charging anything to anyone who signs on as an Expressively Artistic Featured Artist from Feb 1/15 to Jan1/16; the benefits for the artists are I will advocate for them by marketing, advertising, tweeting and helping them with exhibits and selling their works. Next year I will charge a fee for new applicants and original artists for this service, for now these artists are helping me grow my niche and deserve some form of payment. Free exposure for them will pay off for all of us, I feel.

As of late I am getting an average of 8 blog comments a day over my content and I have about 470 twitter followers with some who have lately been retweeting and favoring my posts.

In mid January I met and interacted with a twitter follower who have founded a charity program for orphaned children to bring art in their lives, I asked to interview them and write an article, which I did. They were so happy with it that they invited me to attend a NYC Charity Gala later this month. The money raised will fund more Create Centres in Haiti.

As if that was all there was, along comes another Featured Artist! He just fell into my lap. I bit the bullet and asked the CREATE Program founders if they could ask him if he would consider one day being featured on my site and one day later they responded with very positive news! Now when I asked him, I had access to some of his works and let me tell you; he is a future star! He lives in a dangerous and extremely poor neighborhood; I feel this choice may give him the hope for his future, I cannot wait for 4 weeks from now when I get to Skype with him when the charity goes back to his country. He an accessories designer apprentice and much promise!

I'm astounded by the response I'm getting from my own community here in Victoria, BC Canada! I'm starting a fund raiser to raise money for new artists so they can afford to show their works at galleries, art shows and exhibits on the West coast. Art buyers and charities are knocking on my niche door.

You would think I'd be frustrated with the fact that I haven't earned one single dime from my affiliate links, doesn't matter yet, and just yesterday I reminded myself that it has only been 8 or so weeks since my site went live. First come the traffic, and now I'm getting return traffic; I'm excited about that! People want to come back; people are engaged, that's cool!
