Last night, I applied to Infolinks. They advised me, that they would get back to me within 2 business days. Well, to my surprise they emailed a response within 5 hours.

The email response was not the most joyous email to read. But, I soaked it up. And continued reading it anyways.

What Did The Email Say?

The email said, "Thank you, for your interest in Infolinks. However, after reviewing your site. We are sorry to say, that we have to meet the upmost quality standards.

With that being said we are not able to approve your application at this time."

Say, What?

Oh, how that was heart breaking. That was my first time getting denied by an Ad Network.

What Did I Do?

I kindly emailed them back immediately. I thanked them for their consideration. I also explained to them that my site met traffic qualifications. Which they do not have a traffic qualifications. There is nothing else out of line on my site.

So, what else could be the problem?

Furthermore, I then began to ask how can I fix my site. So, that it would meet their standards. I thanked them one more time for their consideration and ended the email.

Well, of course after receiving the email from Infolinks. I was a little bummed out. Then eventually I ended up getting me some chocolate caramel pecan cheesecake...LOL.

Evnetually, I forgot about it.

What is Infolinks?

Infolinks is an Ad Network. Offering solutions to both publishers and advertisers. In other words, it is another way to monetize your blog. Their ads are supposed to be fully customizable. Which can invite higher engagement and click through rates on your website.

What Are Their Requirements?

Infolinks does not require you to have a certain amount of traffic. In fact, you can have a completely new domain and they will accept you. My domain is not 30 days old yet. Although, I have been publisher every single day. To beef up my site.

As long as your blog/website does not display content such as:

  • Violent images or messages
  • promotion of discrimination
  • promotion of illegal activities
  • Display of defamatory
  • Content that is inconsistent with Infolinks policies or services
  • No adult obscene
  • Online Gambling
  • And any other content that is objectionable to them

Infolinks should have considered me or you. If this has happened to you. If not, keep this post in mind for future references.

This Morning I Wake Up

I get and read my emails. As I usually do every day. And, to my surprise. It was Infolinks.

Infolinks sent me an email and thanked me for my response. They proceed to tell me that they re-reviewed my site and it does meet their standards.

I see this congratulations message telling me I have been Approved.

I can not express to you how happy I was. It was like I hit the lottery. LOL

Don't Let A No Stop You

So, I write this article for any new Wealthy Affiliate members. Or people considering Wealthy Affiliate. Never give up. It is not the end of the world. Your going to receive No's. Don't let it stop you. For every No, you will eventually get a "Yes"

If Infolinks would not have come back and approved me. I would have just kept pushing forward. And, you should do the same. If you find yourself in a situation like this.

Wealthy Affiliate is a great place and it gives many members. Including myself the drive to keep moving forward.

My Final Conclusion

Building an online business is not easy. However, I do know it will be well worth, the hard work in the end. Keep moving forward and don't look back.

Have A Great Night!

Happy Holidays

Good for you. Need to figure out how to engrave this in my brain for those times I simple accept a “No” and let it get to me.

You are the bestest at making the day bright

Thank you, Barney! I am usually the same way. I just let things go but, for some reason. I could not let this go. I guess I felt insulted when they said I did not meet their standards.

I mean after all the hard work we put into building our sites. I mean come on we are not web designers. So, I just could not let it go.

Congratulations Kisha. You are an inspiration to me.
Joseph

Thank you, Joseph! We will ride this out together..

Well done!

Thank you!

It was the chocolate cheesecake that did it...LOL! Jokes aside, well done, you were proactive and it paid off. They probably never have anyone question their decision so good on you. I do find a couple of their stipulations bemusing though:

- Content that is inconsistent with Infolinks policies or services.
- And any other content that is objectionable to them.

These are two very vague statements.

Did they end up giving you any feedback on your site?

Well done you! Congratulations on the outcome.

LOL...yeah you are right. It probably was the cheesecake.

You know what. No they never said what the problem was. They just simply said I was denied. And did not meet their standards. They were being vague like you said. So, of course that was heart breaking to me.

I did ask them to tell me what the problem was and instead they just literally responded and said. We re-reviewed your site and you're approved.

I guess, I will never know what the issues was.

Thank you, I am happy with the outcome...

Well done. Politeness surely goes a long way.

Thank you! Yes it does...

congratulations, persistence pays off.

Thank you. And, yes it does.

Excellent advice, La'Kisha.

Thank you, Phil!

Excellent!
Never give up indeed
Great lesson

Thank you...100% agreed upon..

❤️

Hello La'kisha, great article and so true! It's easy to accept the "no" and if it's deserved then we learn from it and try to improve ourselves but sometimes the "no' is not justified and I like how you turned the "no" into a yes by being positive and asking questions, well done! :-)

Thank you, Erik. That is exactly what I was trying to do improve my site. As well as myself. You are so right. Thanks for your response.

You are very welcome...:-)

La'Kisha,
Good for you - sometimes all it takes is a quick email
to find out why and in the end they had no why bingo
approved - YOU got this girl you GO!! ::))
Susan

Thank you, Susan. It actually took courage for me to send that email. I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. Usually, I just let things slide.

Now, I know what to do going forward.
