Disapproving Comments Effects

I just would like to say that when disapprove a good comment it puts the other person at risk of losing their right t o leave comments. I don't know if many know this, but you can edit the comment after you approve. Add a little or take away a little, all up to you. I to feel sometimes that comments are not really relevant, but I edit after I approve it right away.

If people leave something leave a nasty or really distasteful comment then I will advise you to disapprove the comment!

Anyways just a thought. I had this happen once before so I am speaking from experience, and I do not want that to happen again. We all help each other with our comments. Comments are very important to all of us!

When you make a comment, you should never:

(1) Talk about the platform that you are using to make the comment. This has no relevance to the subject matter.

(2) Never start and end the comment with "Great Article.". This is useless filler text and offers no value to the dialogue.

(3) Comment about the persons site design or your experience on their site. This is not a site critique, you are adding to the conversation and offering a valuable comment, question, etc that is totally relevant to the content.

If you are doing one or more of these, you often times will see a rejection.

If the article is about Vitamix 6300 and the benefits this blender has in terms of juicing, the comment better be about the Vitamix 6300, juicing, etc.

Good post, I think I would like to add it is okay to disapprove spam comments too. Sadly I have noticed there are a few people who when commenting post a spam comment trying to advertise their site or services which have no relation to your post or page content whatsoever. Just like nasty or disrespectful comments, this is a circumstance where being banned from commenting is appropriate.

Yes, thanks for the comment. In an instance of spam and advertising you should reject it. Who wants spam on their page or website?

If the comment is a spam, I will definitely reject it.
