Being new to Wealthy Affiliate, my goal for this year 2025 is to
1. First of all familiarize myself with Wealthy Affiliate program, study all the dos and don't so that I will not break any rule, rather play according to the rules. To realize this I will view all the training videos, study and apply all training articles from professionals and up liners in Wealthy Affiliate.
2. Build a website that will attract strong traffic to my niche which will help to generate monthly income of about $500, I plan to do this by advertising my niche in different social media like (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok etc) inorder to get reliable traffic that will help to build a strong business.
3. To have a strong affiliate team in Wealthy Affiliate that will help to generate additional income to my wallet. To achieve this, I plan to invite many people as possible to join Wealthy Affiliate through my affiliate link.
I came across a quote today that really resonated with me:
2025 DOESN’T CHANGE YOUR LIFE -
WHAT YOU DO IS WHAT CHANGES 2025
(Facebook - Success Mindset)
1. My Online Business Goals
a) To have my niche site earning a consistent monthly income of at least $500 per month.
b) A colleague and friend has challenged me with the idea that we need to find a "side hustle" we can work on together to start earning a second income. We are exploring ideas and this could turn into a second niche site. (If I can convince him that affiliate marketing is the best long-term option)
2. My plans to achieve my goals
a) Go through the core training to make sure I have not missed anything and that all the relevant updates are included on my site.
Looking back, last year was wasted. I got so busy at my day job that it consumed my time and I neglected my goals for getting a site up and running. Even though I had my domain registered and created the site, I didn't add any content somehow. That is not going to happen again this year - I will be making time to work on what will build a secure future for myself and my family.
To hold myself accountable I will commit to posting at least a monthly update here on WA to share my progress. (baby steps - this is going to be a slow journey).
b) Get started on social media.
My knowledge of social media is extremely limited and I will tackle this as a total newbie. This is the only way that I believe I will learn what I need to. If I make any assumptions about what I think I know then I could miss some valuable lessons along the way.
c) Share what I learn
As I really get going with the training and making my niche site a success I want to share my knowledge with others. I have been told that I missed my calling in life and that I would have made a good teacher - perhaps this is my chance to put that to the test

Good luck, Lesley.
I think it is a very good idea to start with the basics and go through everything like clockwork in order to get the foundations in place.
I am also committed to a monthly progress report here to keep myself accountable.
Good luck with everything and I will be very interested to follow your progress.

well it seems i have an older account and i can't do anything...can't ask questions or anything and it is getting annoying. Sure i abandoned the site 7-8 years ago but seems i still getting "punished" for having an older account. Got lots of questions regarding the special membership offer and sadly can't get any answers due to the fact i can't ask ANY QUestions due to having an old account!! help!!
This platform does not punish due to account age. Not sure as to why you cannot ask questions unless it is a caching issue. You can ask a question anywhere on this platform.
You may want to clear your browser history and try again.

You can ask any questions that you want, and you should be able to log into your old membership if you want. If it was a Premium level membership back then though, you would need to resubscribe and the new offer is only available to brand new accounts.
I hope this clarifies for you, but you can ask questions here or you can email me personally at: kyle@wealthyaffiliate.com
And I could help you look up your old account. ;)

Ok, thought I would share my goals for 1 website. This is my Heath and wellness website.
……..TheLazyAthlete…….. net.
It has only been going for 10 months and I only have 50 posts up, but have had some good response and have these plans in the pipeline.
Let’s go..
Well the only affiliate program I am rolling with is Amazon and have 2-3 months left to get the 3 sales. Not a biggie if I do miss ass I will just up again. However I am using 30 second videos via Creatify to push into Tik Tok and Facebook. So far only done 5 but this is my first paid month. $39 per month. These videos link into my Amazon link. Link link lol. By the end of this month I will have about 15-20 videos going out repeatedly. ( on Facebook and TikTok) I’m also doing longer videos with my blogs via Invideo, which is costing $20 per month. So will be quite interested to see what WA comes up with.
Apart from that I have a lazy athlete Pinterest site ( needs work) and the meta business suite where I post to almost daily,
My next @thing” is opening an affiliate account with Shopee, which is big in Vietnam. I will also be dual languaging my website for English and Vietnamese.
I already have people ready to buy stuff via my link at Shopee.
My goal is Shopee for Vietnam and Amazon for the “West”. However I would love to send Shopee stuff to the @West” as it is about 20% of thecost of Amazon.
But first things first.
I may open something other than Amazon as well later, because there are Amazon haters. lol, I wonder why…” I want my staff scared when they come to work”
I have a t-shirt for Bezos to help him cultivate empathy with his staff. lol.
That’s it for now.
