It’s officially January 1st, 2025, and we are excited to kick off another brilliant year with all of you. This is the perfect time to reflect, set goals, and plan for success in your online business journey.
To celebrate the start of 2025, this week’s challenge is all about sharing your online business goals for the year ahead and the steps you’re going to take to make them happen.
Whether you’re just starting out or striving to reach the next big milestone, we want to hear your plans and strategies for absolutely crushing it in 2025.
How to Participate:
1️. Set Your Online Business Goals: Think about what you want to achieve in your online business in 2025. This could be launching your first website, reaching a specific income milestone, driving more traffic, mastering PPC, or scaling your affiliate marketing efforts.
2️. Share Your Plan: In the comments below, tell us your goals and what actionable steps you’re going to take to achieve them. Be specific, your strategy might inspire someone else in the community!

well it seems i have an older account and i can't do anything...can't ask questions or anything and it is getting annoying. Sure i abandoned the site 7-8 years ago but seems i still getting "punished" for having an older account. Got lots of questions regarding the special membership offer and sadly can't get any answers due to the fact i can't ask ANY QUestions due to having an old account!! help!!
This platform does not punish due to account age. Not sure as to why you cannot ask questions unless it is a caching issue. You can ask a question anywhere on this platform.

You can ask any questions that you want, and you should be able to log into your old membership if you want. If it was a Premium level membership back then though, you would need to resubscribe and the new offer is only available to brand new accounts.

My Goals for 2025 here within WA are as follows.
1) Start getting more Premium referrals to WA through my WA Blogs and through blogs on my website, which I have to get back into and update. The most I ever earned from the WA Affiliate Program was $955.00 per month. I will be happy to make $500/month in 2025.
2) I'd like to build a new website in a niche I already started. Before I left WA a few years ago, I purchased a domain name. I was listening to the radio while trying to come up with a name for a new website on Hemp Products and heard the song Hurt So Good by John Mellencamp.
Since 2018, Hemp has been federally legal in all 50 United States to grow and buy through the mail. NOTE: I am talking about Hemp, NOT Marijuana. There is a difference between the two. I wanted a relevant catchy name, so I came up with and purchased HempSoGood.
3) Seeing how I want to start a new website with the domain I bought a few years ago, I will need to get a better understanding of the website development and AI tools here within the community. All of this has changed so much since the last time I was here building a website.
AND
4) Help to motivate and encourage the WA Community, especially the newbies, with my success in my PPE niche and how none of my success would have been possible if it weren't for the training here. ALL of us were beginners at one time and I want members to know it is possible to succeed.
There are a few different ways to achieve your goals and you will taste failure along the way. The key to success is to spend less time being a social butterfly within the WA community if you are a newbie and instead focus on building your business to start earning income.
Once the money starts coming in on a steadier basis, then you can be that social butterfly if you wish. The reason I dropped out of the Top 25 Ambassador rankings a few years ago, was to focus on getting my new niche growing. Now my income is passive and I'm back to share what I know.
Great goals and plans Robert I know knowing you will be able to knock it out of the ballpark and enjoy all the new training we both never had when we started all those years ago.

Thanks but that spot was pot luck due to three previous ones leaving not like the old days when it really mattered. It will disappear soon but that is ok as you know it's our websites that matter most not the position here.

We come here to learn how to create a business of our own in affiliate marketing. If we don't focus more on the business, within the time we have available in our lives, we will fail.
Exactly that is why many forget the reason then came here for and that is to learn to build an online business based on their niche.
Not to be the social butterfly as you correctly stated. I have seen many some who have left just spam the system to game their rankings.
helping and support members is one thing but gaming the systems is another.
We can here to learn to build an online business and that should always be the first and most important aim. the rest is a benefit.

That's the spirit Nikolay! Dream big but also celebrate the small victories. When I started 12 years ago, I also dreamed big. However, my problem was I didn't celebrate the small victories as much as I should have.
Eventually I redefined my goals into smaller easier goals and found my victories became larger. This motivated me to do better because reaching my goals was easier, thus pushing my goals bigger as I mastered the task.

Everything will be perfect this year, as it was last year, and even more!
1. Keep posting 2 posts a day for the rest of the year on my mini pc blog
2. Figure out how to make 3 videos a week for the associated YT channel without burning myself out
3. expand my reach in social media and automate at least 20 posts per post and video on pinterest, facebook and linkedIn
Great goals and all can be achieved here within the Wealthy Affiliate community. Everything is here, except your determination to reach your goals in a specific time frame. Since you mentioned getting burned out figuring out YouTube videos, let me give you a small bit of advice.
In our journey to reach our goals, we will hit road blocks. It's inevitable. So when that happens, don't get upset that they are slowing down your progress. Just slow down and / or put your goals on hold until you figure things out how doing them no longer impedes your progress.

1. My Online Business Goals
a) To have my niche site earning a consistent monthly income of at least $500 per month.
b) A colleague and friend has challenged me with the idea that we need to find a "side hustle" we can work on together to start earning a second income. We are exploring ideas and this could turn into a second niche site. (If I can convince him that affiliate marketing is the best long-term option)
2. My plans to achieve my goals
a) Go through the core training to make sure I have not missed anything and that all the relevant updates are included on my site.
Looking back, last year was wasted. I got so busy at my day job that it consumed my time and I neglected my goals for getting a site up and running. Even though I had my domain registered and created the site, I didn't add any content somehow. That is not going to happen again this year - I will be making time to work on what will build a secure future for myself and my family.
To hold myself accountable I will commit to posting at least a monthly update here on WA to share my progress. (baby steps - this is going to be a slow journey).
b) Get started on social media.
My knowledge of social media is extremely limited and I will tackle this as a total newbie. This is the only way that I believe I will learn what I need to. If I make any assumptions about what I think I know then I could miss some valuable lessons along the way.
c) Share what I learn
As I really get going with the training and making my niche site a success I want to share my knowledge with others. I have been told that I missed my calling in life and that I would have made a good teacher - perhaps this is my chance to put that to the test.
