The 15x Post Milestone!

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to congratulate you on your progress so far!

Hitting the "15" post mark, or fifteen content pages on your website, is a very big milestone for several reasons. One of the main reasons is that at this point, you are much more likely to get approved for relevant affiliate programs.

As you move forward in affiliate marketing, you'll need to apply for some affiliate programs. Reaching the fifteen post mark is typically the threshold many affiliate programs have. They'll look at your website, check your content to ensure it's relevant to their business, and see that you have adequate content and structure to start applying to their programs.

This milestone also means you’ll start getting approved more easily through ad networks like AdSense, where you can place ads on your site and get paid per click. It's an exciting time because fifteen posts represent significant progress.

But remember, we’re just getting started. We’re going to move forward, create more content, learn more, and become more skilled in the design elements of our business. You'll get lots of engagement, and there's a lot to look forward to as we continue.

Keep at it. Keep moving forward. Keep working hard. You are doing awesome.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Milestone Achievement: Reaching 15 posts is significant for affiliate program approvals.
  2. Affiliate Program Applications: Many affiliate programs and ad networks like AdSense consider this a threshold for approval.
  3. Ongoing Progress: Continue creating content, learning, and engaging to grow your business.

If you have any questions about this milestone or at this stage in your business, jump into the comments below, and I'll be more than happy to help you out.

I have an article which I published on the 11th of September, but its not yet indexed, I requested indexing but still its not, the ones I published after this one are all indexed. I tried to check for the problem but its saying breadcrumbs and I don't seem to able fix the issue, my website is eldeezfashionplus.com

Breadcrumbs is your navigation. What does it exactly say? You may also want to internally linking to a post that's indexed and ranking to give it a chance to get crawled by the search engines next time.

Thanks Abie
This is what

How do I internally link the post Abie.

Hi Kyle,

I am nowhere near doing 15 posts probably 5 now. I have a query,

You talk about 15 posts but also mention pages? When you say pages do you mean creating 15 separate pages of content, for example my niche is CAD Design but I want to add content about different CAD software programs the pro and cons of each, the costs of software packages, commercial and student licenses as well as dedicated desktop workstations and other hardware on the market.

I realise I have given you a long question, so it might require a bit of thought.

I look forward to hearing from you and from other members.

Kind regards,

Rebecca

Fifteen+ separate posts vs pages - Posts go in the blog roll, vs. pages are static.

You would want to add more informational content to drive organic traffic.

So, your website should have 70% informational and 30% review posts. Then, you can internally link them to your informational posts. Ideally, you also want to let your review posts marinate in the search engines before you turn them into commercial intent.

Abie

Hi Abie,

Thanks for the information, when you say blog roll verses pages which are static, how do I know the difference?

Could you please explain the difference.

It would make it easier for me to understand what I'm doing.

Thanks,

Rebecca

Your Pages and posts are listed separately in your back office.

Your pages are things like your Home page, Affiliate disclosure, About me, privacy policy, etc...

Your posts are the blogs that you write for your niche.

I hope this is helpful.

Stacie

Thank you Stacie,

That really helps, I understand now.

Rebecca

Hi Abie,

Thanks for your reply,

I have just come across that feature in wordpress.

Rebecca

That's fantastic; I appreciate the update here, Rebecca!

Please keep us posted.

Hi Kyle
thank you for all the learning so far. I am danish so sorry for my bad English. I do not understand if I am doing things wrongly, because I do not yet have 15 posts on my website. Do I need to get 15 posts on my website before I continue ? And one other thing, It is hard to see your videos and then try them my self without forgetting all that you are saying. I mean I am 59, perhaps a little slow and so on. But this is so so so new to me everything. I have not yet been able to put pictures to my website and have forgotten how to do it, so need to go back in videos and learn again and again to get all this right. How do you believe it is the best way to learn. That every time you watch a video you try it on your own website as you go along ore take a few videos and then play around. I also want to change the look on the website and remember you said something about doing this early on because otherwise it would be more and more complicated to implement.
looking forward in hearing from you and you best guidline for a newy

We are content progressively. The recommendation is to keep updating blogs with 2 - 3 posts weekly for the foreseeable future.

I would try to add content in the beginning... When the website starts gaining traction and traffic, I would then worry about customizations.
