Beer With Kyle: Why Am I Designing a Pink Army Tank BBQ?
Hey Everyone,
I’ve got a few exciting updates and ideas to share todad, starting with something light (literally) and then diving into a really fascinating use of AI, a few Wealthy Affiliate updates, and a quick reminder about the Black Friday Rewind deal.
This Week’s Beer
Today’s beer is Corona Cero, which is a 0.0% alcohol version of the classic Corona. The reason I’m going non-alcoholic today? I’m heading out on a two-hour road trip for a quick camping getaway with my family. Safety first.
Honestly, it tastes pretty close to the real thing. If you enjoy Corona and want to skip the alcohol, this is a solid pick.
The Rise of the Creator Economy (With AI)
Now to the good stuff. I want to walk you through a fun example of where I think things are heading in the AI space, and how it’s turning all of us into creators, inventors, and problem-solvers.
A few days ago, I was barbecuing and had a random idea…
What if there was a barbecue shaped like an army tank?
So I jumped into ChatGPT and started brainstorming:
- Initial Concept – I told it to design an army tank barbecue.
- Refinement – I asked it to make it more photorealistic.
- Practical Adjustments – I pointed out design flaws (like not being able to reach the grill) and asked it to fix them.
- Color Customization – Then I said, "Make it pink." It did.
- Manufacturing Specs – I asked for a breakdown of the components needed to manufacture it, and ChatGPT gave me a 12-item list and even suggested a folder structure for production.
The wild part? This went from a silly idea to a fully spec'd concept in under an hour—and I’m not a product engineer. AI did all the heavy lifting.
This is just one example, but the broader idea here is we’re entering an era where anyone can build and create things they never could before.
And not just physical products. This also applies to:
- Software
- Content
- Games
- Tools
- Services
- Education
- And beyond
The speed, power, and accessibility of AI is changing everything.
Updates at Wealthy Affiliate
We have a lot happening behind the scenes right now, and I want to give you a quick rundown.
1. Jaaxy Rebuild Launching in August
We’re rebuilding Jaaxy from the ground up. It will be fully integrated within WA instead of being a standalone tool. And yes, QSR is being retired—we don’t believe it provides the same value it once did in today’s AI-driven search landscape.
Expect a more modern, more useful keyword and research platform launching this month.
2. Business Hubs Redesign
The Business Hubs setup is getting a full redesign. It will be much more intuitive, especially for Starter and Premium members setting up their first website and brand.
We’ve gone through a few iterations of Hubs already, but this one is going to be the best yet—by far.
3. New Hosting Infrastructure
Yes, we’ve heard the feedback about intermittent hosting issues. We’re actively building a new hosting environment, currently in testing, that includes:
- The latest PHP version (8.3)
- Better performance
- Enhanced support
- More robust problem-solving at the root level
Hosting is complicated (in particular Wordpress websites). Plugins, themes, versioning make it very much a moving target. But we are continuing to strengthen every layer, and it’s going to show in your experience very soon.
Final Reminder: Black Friday Rewind (Ends Tuesday!)
This is a limited-time deal running until Tuesday at midnight:
- $497/year Premium Plus+ membership (our lowest price ever)
- 60,000 monthly AI credits ($300/month value)
- Access to every platform, class, update, and tool
- Lock in this pricing forever
You can find the full post in the Top 10 trending blogs at WA right now. You can get the DEAL here.
Whether you’re a Starter, Premium, or Premium Plus+ member, you can grab this deal—or stack another year if you are already on Premium Plus+. You won’t see this offer again until November.
Let’s Talk Creatorship!
I want to hear your thoughts.
What do you think about this new era of AI-powered creation?

Absolutely loved this update, Kyle! 🙌
The pink tank BBQ idea is a brilliant (and hilarious) example of how AI is changing the game for creators of all kinds. It's exciting to see how we can go from idea to full product concept in no time—without being engineers or developers. AI really is the ultimate tool for dreamers and doers.
Also really excited about the upcoming Jaaxy rebuild and Business Hubs redesign. You and the team continue to innovate and evolve WA in the best ways.
Thanks for sharing your vision and energy—always motivating! 💡🔥

I think AI is the coolest thing ever (amazing what we can do with it), and yet I am still unsure about it. :) Right now, it is not AI in itself that concerns me the most, but what's going on in the world and the huge gap between nations... and how AI could be used to do more harm than good when in the wrong hands.
Yeah, this is probably the case too. Where there is good, there must be bad as well. AI can be used in ways that are destructive, and when we have robotics in place (and robots roaming amongst us), this could get very interesting, weird, exciting, and in some cases scary.
We have to embrace this new iteration of humanity, because if you play it out in a way where it could lead to a more utopian society and world, then it gets exciting.
Pink BBQ - Love it!
I used to call myself, tech challenged, as I just didn't understand coding, design etc. - not anymore. AI has opened up so many areas for me.
1. I have replaced many spreadsheets with AI - interactive calculators which clients are loving.
2. Built customised Bots - ChatGPT doing the legwork on this - again customers are loving them.
3. Had a product design that pre-covid, I was in discussions with China to design and build and were put on hold. I've now reactived the discussions with ChatGPT and while I still need to manufacture it, the whole system looks and feels more promising now.
Instead of moving things to a - that's too hard for me folder - I talk to ChatGPT and before I know it the development work is done.
Haha, it is an army tank and those two things don't go hand in hand, but the reality is that we can carve out and create super unique and hyper specific audiences. And we can create products that are unique and very useful, that appeal to the masses.
There will come a time when this can apply to the offline world, and people will be able to develop all sorts of amazing things. I am looking forward to this new world!
Love to hear you are using things extensively Karen. :)
It is just blowing my mind all the possibilities - with Chat Agent recently released, I've had a talk with ChatGPT and have a plan to create 3 new automated tools for the website with a roll out over the next 5 months.
A game I've been trying to develop for a couple of years is now in the pipeline for release next year.
It seems every idea I put on the backburner, either because the tech was too challenging for me, or it wasn't possible at the time, is being now in the realm of possible and I love how quickly it can be done.
Hey Kyle,
Thanks for the update and exciting news about WA. A few questions:
1) Are you going to design and build those tank BBQs to sell? It seems like AI can create an entire plan, including potential material and dimensions, etc.
2) What is the difference between Premium Plus and Premium Plus Yearly?
I am not going to develop these no, but perhaps I would if there was a path to do so, I could test the market, and it didn't require me to have a big outlay of money. I believe that is where we will be at some point.
Ok, thank you. You didn't answer my second question, though.
What is the difference between Premium Plus and Premium Plus Yearly?

Some how Kyle, we seem to be on the same wave length. Todays post, is a great response to your question. The promise was that AI would helps us to do more, be more, and know more. AI Creativity is doing just that. Being more creative.
The drawback is that it is creating a lot of effortless content.
