Beer With Kyle: Hubs is Evolving, Fast. A Recent Update, and What We Are Planning.

Today, we have some exciting updates as we just released the latest rendition of the Hubs platform at Wealthy Affiliate. We've incorporated a new training approach, and I want to discuss these changes and show you what's coming next to streamline training for both newcomers and advanced members.
This week's beer is Yellow Dog Brewing Co.'s Play Dead IPA, one of my favorite IPAs from a brewery in Port Moody, BC, on the outskirts of Vancouver. It's an excellent brewery, and if you're in British Columbia, I highly recommend trying it.

Clicking on tasks reveals the training below, and there's no distraction from other classes. It's focused, allowing you to watch the class, read the text version, and jump into the comments if needed.
We've also streamlined the design by reducing the top area to focus on core training and tasks. Every task now has a video, ensuring clear instructions.

Since the last time I ventured through the front door of WA and disappeared almost just as quick as I came I have learnt a little more in life about slowing down to take it all in. Sometimes things happen while where not watching so it's better to be content and move along methodically - at least for me!
This time I knew what I wanted to do and so far I love everything about the training modules all being set our and titled in nice boxes all in a row where I can move back and forth between them as I find forgotten info or use to past info to update something.

I can see the problem and know that a referral I did recently stopped at the onboarding. When I asked her why it was confusion about what's the next step.
Getting new members onboard through a mixture of training and actions is a good step. It gets new members into the wealthy affiliate ethos around learning and actions. I'm in favour of anything that makes that easier, as well as, creating the habit of using the hub.
Hi Mr Kyle sorry it's been a minute life hasn't been so good is there any way to earn credits to upgrade it's the option of paying for it is not an option at the moment and also I'm Josh nice to meet you I do have a website with the plug-in profit sites still trying to figure that out I'm going to start over with this and do the trainings if there's any options or any way possible that you know of please let me know I feel like I've been wasting my time for too long and I really don't have anywhere else to turn to being honest I'm beyond broke man I need some help thank you
Kyle, there is some talk about google planning to give people answers to their searches by using ai to skim our content to give people answers directly and no longer listing links to our articles in the search results. Is this true? If it is then what will that do to seo optimization to get organic traffic to our websites? Will Seo optimization to drive organic traffic become obsolete? Will the best way to drive traffic become via posting on medium, Reddit, quota, you tube, etc? Some are proposing just that. What say you?
AI can already give people answers to questions, and Google has been offering "featured snippets" for some time, which will answer more simplistic questions.
But people still use Google for research, and more often than not for something more complex, won't be satisfied with the "answer". Bing tried this as well for awhile, but pulled a lot of it back.
But you are going to see people getting more sophisticated with their searches, and the actual benefit of your content is going to be tied directly to the target keywords you are leveraging.
And yes, you can absolutely leverage Medium, Reddit, Quora and Youtube to help you get more traffic. By all means.
