Thank you for your help. I’ve finally worked out the bugs and can now access my email even from my iPhone.

Are you using site content or Wordpress. Both you can restore your previous saved version.
In site content, retrieve the unpublished post and at the bottom you can see the number of autosave version, click on it and your previous versions will appear on the screen.

Hi Jerry, thank you for your input. However, the post that I lost was on my WA blog. I had just finished it and it said it had been auto-saved so I didn't hit "save". I proceeded to add a header image and when I went back to check and publish the post, it was gone. It is not in drafts either. I'm wondering if there is another way to recover that post.
