Hi folks..:) I'm wondering how specific I should get with my niche....? I am just beginning (sure this has already been asked)...I am a golf pro, so naturally golf is my thing.

Hello, agree with David, there are many ways to slice a cake. I go fairly focused on a niche to start. ex. dogs niche, I will start with a specific breed, say Doberman, once proven then I can start to scale out to other breeds. Alternatively I can start with specific dog training technique as per David's ex. Have fun and success, cheers!

Ok. I'm going to start with putting.... a breed of golf shots...lol...and thx:)

Hi

I think going narrower is the way to go and is what Kyle recommends doing.

I chose dental products and services and I think I should have restricted myself to something much more narrow like curing bad breath now.

It's amazing how much you can write on even a very narrow niche and it's hard to cover everything properly in a broad niche. Also, you will have to compete with big company websites who have a ton of resources and maybe a large teams of writers.

I suggest you choose a narrow niche like fixing a slice. You may even be able to narrow that further! If you exhaust that niche you can always broaden it when that happens.

David

Cheers. thats what I am not sure on, how specific to get....Moving in closer..:)
