Think about how the most hospitable company or person treats you when you visit their house and use that to inspire how you treat people when they come here.

The BEST way to get started is to follow Lesson 1 here: Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started Level 1 OH, have you OPTIMISED your profile yet? If not here's a link to 'Account Setup' video which will walk you through the process.
How to Complete Your Account Set-up at WA --Or Just Do This On Your PROFILE
1) Add a photo of YOU: I recommend using a REAL photo of you. CAT photos or images of CARS are NOT as effective at connecting with us.
2) Add a personal OR professional bio: The most important thing is to be yourself and tell your story (things like lifestyle, family, passions, hobbies, professional life are ok) you don't have to get too personal. Whatever you are comfortable sharing about you. Cool?
3) add 3 financial goals:
1: Money I would be happy earning: $$$$
2: Money I would be ecstatic earning: $$$$$
3: Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals: 72 hours a week!!!
Everything is right on your profile.
Once you've done that you are NOW an official member of the Wealthy Affiliate community. Glad to have ya!
Cheers

looks ok but I would still put their name after Congrats
makes your message more personal and friendly
Done! And the last question I have is: Is this a private message or profile message follow up? I guess it could be either. What do you recommend Robert?
You can create several message to send after the Welcome one. Creating Custom Messages For Your New Referrals https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/messages
I would leave the PMs until they ask a specific question.

Hi,
My advice is just real and friendly to your welcome message.
What I did for mine is I introduce myself, ask them to create their profile, direct them to the training and made sure they know I am here to help them if they have questions or need help.
Hope that answers your question.
