How to write a business plan, (one way anyway)
How to write a business plan
(one way anyway)
A business plan is a visually structured road map (so to speak) instrument that you write down in an outline form describing your goals and the strategy plan for your business model and how you are going to follow it.
A business plan, however, is not written in stone and as you grow in your business, you will see the things on your plan that can be changed to become even more successful in your own right.
Your business plan should be unique for you and what you will need to attain.
Plan your business, and work your plan,
Example:
1) Goal to reach
a) What is my niche
b) Name my niche
i)
2)Goal to reach
- a) Time frame to get it started
- b) Time frame to have it finished
i) may of next year
3) What tools do I need
a) WA training
b) Website
1) Set up the website
2) Name the website
Etc., Etc., Etc.,
This is just an idea of what you should do. You will have to fill in the blanks on your own business adventure
You need to fill as much information into this format as you can and update it daily if necessary .
Include what your niche will be, how you will research the information that will be needed, strategies on products, services, domain name, website training, time frames, just to name a few.
Plan on who your audience will be and how you plan on reaching them, email, social media, advertising, organic or paid.
Where are you going to get the best training to help you achieve these goals? ( I suggest that you strongly use all the state-of-the-art training in Wealthy affiliates program)
Write down how, and why your product or service is going to benefit your readers/customers.
A business plan should be your foundation with well planned goals and actions that you will be taking in order for you to become successful. Without sound strategies in your business plan, it will be of little use to you as a successful business plan model.
I hope that this little blurb was helpful to some extent and if it helps one person or family starting the thought process of starting a business whether it's on-line or brick and mortar it will be successful.

Thank you,
Success to everyone.

Preceding the Business Plan, Kris, is the Operating Agreement. This also changes as the business grows but, just like the Plan, is important for daily decisions about the business.
None of this is as complicated with WA as it is with a brick and mortar business but it does provide a path to follow.
Archie
Yes, I agree 100% that the Operating Agreement is paramount as part of the equation in making thought out daily business decisions for a successful business operation.
I also believe in the WA platform of continuous educational information and training. WA does make understanding this business easier to accomplish without being complicated and the community of like mined people is awesome.
Thank you Archie
You are very welcome, I hope that this is helpful to you.
Simply put: Plan your work....work your plan. :-)
much success to you Jeffery

Another important part of a plan for me is that I remember where I am each morning as I sit down with my coffee.
Many years ago, when I first started my journey, a much wiser than me member shared that we can spend an awful lot of time with Wealthy Affiliate, but not really work on our business.
"Wealthy Affiliate is a lot like the favorite college pub when you go to college. A lot of fun, but the paper is not written come morning." Marion Black.
So a business plan is important. Thanks for the reminder.
Sami
morning,
I agree with you 100%
I really like the analogy of the "coffee shop/ Pub" :-)
Simply put: Plan your work... Work your plan...
I wish you much success Sami
Kris
I love this, thanks for sharing!
Summary:
- Have a plan (the more specific the better)
- Set specific goals (again, the more specific the better)
- Assign a timeframe to your plan. There is no greater motivator than a deadline :-)
- Enjoy the journey!
Great post!
Morning,
Thank you, I hope that this will be helpful to you.
Sounds like you get it 100%
I wish you much success Wayne.

The foundation of any business should be the plan we wish to follow Kris!
Of course things will change over time as our plans change and businesses evolve.. but without an initial plan of what direction we want to head in... most future plans won't be worth the paper they are written on my friend!
Agree 100%
Thanks Kris!
