When going to the WP site from site Manager, to update the "admin" name to my brand name ... the area that is shown in the video training is not on my WP back office. Only a pa

You would change that in Users, by creating a new user (as an administrator) and deleting the old one. Do understand, though, that this is not visible to anyone but yourself.

You can change that under users tab | WordPress sites back office.

You type wanted name, then it would let you choose what you wanted it to show, admin | your name and save changes.

If it doesn't it may be a theme situation, try changing themes and see if it changes.

Hi AbieAJ, that is where I was in the back office. However, the "author" tab was not on the back office page.

It did not match the video training

Thank you for the quick reply. :-)

Okay but did it change on your website.

No it still says "Admin"

I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for you help :-)

that's what I was thinking also, I'll jump on some more training in the A.M. again I appreciate your help.

I was still using the "training site" for my second sight.

No worries, let us know how you get on.

Much obliged and always a pleasure to be of assistance.
