Never Blogged before. What are "tags"?
Great to see you jumping on so quick. Kyle answered your question so I won't. Maybe I'll see you in Live Chat sometime.
I've been on GoDaddy. Sorry for late reply. What's your opinion on .info or .us.. My contents is related to automotive & there are not many options for domains that are not crazy priced in the dot com area. Going after AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Car Parts Warehouse as affiliates. And maybe dive into tire affiliates (TireRack, ect.) next. Going to be a knowledge based site, so as people can be more prepared, thus leading to a better automotive repair experience, but going to tap into the people looking for parts &/or tires information on the net.
It's really worth your time finding a .com or even .org. They rank quicker. If someone mentions the name of a site to you and then you go to search it, what would you enter? Me, I would enter .com. PM me if you want to brainstorm any ideas. I found one as an example that I'll PM you.
A tag is just an indicator as to what your content is about. If you blogged about:
Google Panda Update
Then some natural tags would be:
google panda update
google seo
search engine optimization
google panda
Hope this adds clarity. Definitely do not overthink this, a tag is simply a relevant indicator as to what you are content is about and helps with the search function here within WA.
