Why would you use Instagram when there are so many other social medias?

You must consider the actual value and the power of the social network. Instagram is easy and fun to use for people of any age and for many different purposes.

Did you know:

1.) Instagram has over 600 million active monthly users and is growing 10x faster than Facebook and Twitter. Current research puts Instagrams growth at 8-9% every month.

2.) Instagram users have shared over 40 billion photos. On average there are 95 million photos and videos shared per day.

3.) Brands post 4-9 times per week and are seeing a follower engagement at around 4-5%.

4.) Instagrams follower engagement for brands is 50x higher than Facebook and 120x higher than Twitter.

5.) 75% of Instagram users take action such as visiting a website after seeing an Instagram advertising post.

6.) 96% of US fashion brands use Instagram

7.) Instagram influences are charging up to $100,000 per sponsored post.

This should go to show the power of Instagram and the massive potential of being able to make money on Instagram. Do not forget Instagram is growing day by day.

• I have made affiliate sales
• I have collected over 100 emails
• I have used it gain traffic to certain blog posts.
• I have been paid to SHOUT people out. (_young_empire_ paid me $5 to use one of his pictures on my profile and tag him in it.)

The main things you need to focus on when you start is what is your page theme going to be? Your profile needs to capture people visually to the point they WANT to follow you.

• Use high quailty photos
• black and white only
• checkered style posting. (black and then a white post.) (@alphahomeflipping does this)
• same filter (I do this)
• posting in a 3 style theme. (3 pictures that are similiar then using 3 different pictures and so on.)
• There are a lot and you should be creative and come up with your own style.

Be consistent in your theme. and yes you should be using a theme when you post on instagram!

DON'T TRY TO CONSTANTLY SELL. If every picture you post is an effort to sell your followers something, you are going to fail at marketing on Instagram!

No one is using Instagram to be constantly marketed too. First build up the influence you have on Instagram and SLOWLY roll out offers for your followers.

I have shared different offers on my feed. But if you go down and scroll what I shared. I always DELETE those marketing offers. You want to keep your Instagram feed CLEAN! So if you do post an offer, leave it up for 24-48 hours then delete it!
