Why is everyone in a hurry?

I sat in my car waiting for the person who I was driving today. One thing I noticed is that everyone seemed to be in a hurry. I saw a lot of people half walking half running. Most of the expressions I their faces looked worried. I saw mothers practically dragging their children across the parking lot.

Why? What's the hurry? When I'm driving cars fly by me in a rush, only to get to the red and the car that was passing me was right beside me.

What is the rush? I see people at fast food places stuffing down their food and telling their kids to hurry up.

I just don't get it. Why is everybody in a hurry?

People need to slow down and look at nature. Take deep breaths and try to enjoy the journey thru their lives.

I do agree with you, I see people hurring to do almost everything, for instance driving every one is trying to get ahead, they overtake many vehicles causing so much accidents and death on the roads, It is the technology world that we are living in and it is getting worse

The bad thing unfortunately is the technology world. I was talking to a therapist, and he stated that a human brain is a PRIMAL tool with all these nerves ending sparking and firing millions of signals.

The technology world is growing so rapidly that it is almost causing signal overload damaging the frontal cortex.
. We are bred to work and be free living off the land and not having technology tell us how to do it.

Very good article, Kathie.

My motto and tagline are " Hurry Slowly ad Keep It Simple".

I think one of the reasons is the immediate access to everything culture that has emerged with the development of technology.

Smartphones, Tablets, laptops, AI, Internet for everyone on the face of the Earth. We are jammed out by an overwhelming amount of information every minute of the day, and we have not learned how to shut it off.

I wrote a bit about it today on my WA blog roll about people in general tend not to read everything in an article, blog etc. They only read the Headline, some of the Ingress, and a few sentences at the beginning of the body of the article.. They don´t feel they have time and maybe write a blog post lacking information based on facts due to poor research.

Yes…I agree with you, why are we in such a rush!

I couldn't agree more with your statement, Kathie.

I agree with your words, we should take some time for ourselves and enjoy life. Let's devote time to ourselves, our hobbies and our family

Hi, Kathie

Yes, life is significantly more hectic than I ever remember it.

All this Internet and cellular connectivity has only added to the problem.

It’s more important than ever to add a little down time into each day to be alone or with our family and friends. 😎

I agree
