Plans & Goals
Plans and goals are essential to becoming successful in anything. Your future depends on what you do today.
Training Level 2: Document Your Progress
Documenting your progress is important. You need to see where you started and how far you've come (maybe how far you still have to go). In today's training, Kyle has a task for us. Create a blog post. So here we are now, specifically for this task.
Blogging on WA is not something I really intended on doing, but I find it is really helpful. I felt that it was time-consuming and probably wouldn't do much for me. So, I began blogging (based on the suggestion of training and other members) on here and as it turns out, it's a great thing. You get your ideas written down, you can refresh your ideas, look at what works, connect with people, and get really great feedback.
Here's my progress so far:
• Narrowed down and selected my niche
• Created the About page along with two additional posts that focus on great keywords
• Helped people who have questions about their journey
• I am about to complete level 2 of training
• In the top 200 WA rankings unexpectedly (and gratefully!)
• Created ten blog posts
Training Level 2: Goals & Plans
In addition to documenting your progress, Kyle recommends creating goals and plans for what you want to achieve here at WA. This is always great advice.
Goals for the next three months include: creating at least 30 posts for you website.
Plan for this goal: On a weekly basis, two to three posts will need to be completed. This will take time and I have to understand that. I have to take photos, take notes, then write it out and edit the posts. I have to devote at least three days for two to three posts per week.
Goals for the next three months include: Complete all five courses for the "Online Entrepenuer Certification."
Plan for this goal: With only 30 training sessions remaining for this certification, I will need to complete ten per month, so similarly with my previous goal, two to three trainings need to be completed per week. I will make sure to complete the tasks as well.
Personal goals for the next three months include: 4.0 GPA continued and remaining active in the honor society.
Plan for this goal: Schedule my assignments and create weekly deadlines. Work on the collaborative research project in a timely manner and continue to promote social media in order to gain more awareness.
Looking forward to the next three months of more success!

You really do have to plan and you have to stick to it. Documenting it is just one way to keep yourself accountable. Great post!
Thanks for your feedback! I didn't do it at all last year, I'm thinking it's going to really help.
I'm terrible at it and "keep it in my head". I have to be more accountable to myself and my sites.
Excellent idea of documenting your goals, written goals are the best way to remember them!
