In building a niche what about clickbank and promoting their products such as business opportunities or promoting a website as a niche will those work.
Hi Footballfan1, you will be doing a lot of writing and researching within your subject area that you choose to build your site around. So begin with something that interests you.
Then when you have an audience, you can recommend related products from clickbank and other affiliate programs.
For example if you love football, you can write about football teams, games, skills, etc. Then later you can look for affiliate programs that sell footballs, Jerseys, memorabilia etc.

Yes, I believe that will work. However, I would consider narrowing the products you discuss in a sub niche which you seem to have considered.
