Do You Know Your Mastermind Group and What it is?

This post is the second in a series of posts I intend to make which are related in regard to the sources I was inspired to write them from. Don't worry, this is all my content put into my own words based on my own experiences as I've implemented the resources from which they came, which I'll share with the community at large in the final post.

Now, on to the topic of this second post, it naturally follows that in avoiding negative influences, you would be wise to surround yourself with positive influences as much as you are able to do so, which is what being part of a Mastermind Group is all about.

I mentioned in the first post that I believe in reading because I can clearly see that doing so from a very young age has given me so many advantages in life that there are just too many to list. You've probably figured out that the resources of immeasurable value I intend to share with you at the end of this series are 3 particular books, therefore reading will be required to get the wealth of information these books will provide you, although they are available in audio format as well.

All of these books, (2 of which are by the same author and are essentially a companion set) make mention of the importance of forming what they call a Mastermind Group. Have you heard this term before and do you know what it is?

Wikipedia defines a Mastermind Group as: "...a peer-to-peer mentoring group used to help members solve their problems with input and advice from other group members..."

I'll probably give away too much too soon by saying this, but one of the author's of these books I'll be revealing is actually coined the phrase in his first book published in 1925.

Over the years as I've been involved in numerous programs in various genres, I've heard the term, and I gained a more definitive knowledge and understanding after I began reading this author's books. But my problem has been that, up until recently, I could not find anyone I wanted to create a Mastermind Group WITH! I don't mean that in a bad way, allow me to explain. First of all, my family and peers don't fully grasp my entrepreneurial ideas and vision, at least not sufficiently to form such a group from. I did know some moderately successful business owners, but their vision of what success entailed, (and what methods can be successful) weren't really in alignment with mine, either.

Thus, for several years I've basically been searching for even one individual with whom I could begin to form some kind of Mastermind Group that I could belong to and benefit from.

Then, a miracle happened! I accidentally found the best, (and probably the biggest) Mastermind Group I could ever find right here with the Wealthy Affiliate platform! The funny thing is, I'd been a member for months, (I was a bit slow getting started) before this realization finally hit me, but I am very grateful that it did! I couldn't have possibly come up with a better Mastermind Group on my own, much less one the size of WA and who's members are all pursuing similar goals and creating valuable content to share with the Group.

I'd like to point out here that this Mastermind Group, consisting of the WA platform and all that is available there, is by far THE most valuable resource I believe I have EVER found! Not to diminish the immeasurable value of the books I will eventually share, as I truly believe they will change your life in ways you really can't fathom until you read the books and begin to resonate with the information therein.

In summary, the message of this post is that it is well-established within the business community the benefits of, and literal need for, the implementation of a Mastermind Group in any great endeavor, especially those in the business arena. As Wealthy Affiliate members, I am convinced that we're automatically a part of this awesome Mastermind Group even if we haven't yet become a Premium+ member! (To those who haven't, I highly recommend you do so as soon as possible, you won't regret it!)

I hope I haven't been too wordy in this post, (I tend to do that). I just wanted to share with everyone how blessed I feel to have finally found my Mastermind Group, and oh, what a group it is!!
