Gone Fishing Popup
I just built and published my first popup, using the Popup Builder plugin. It was super easy. I chose the "Image" option, made a graphic using Google Slides (see my training for that here on WA.) I needed a "gone fishing" type warning that orders wouldn't be fulfilled until I'm back from a 12 day trip to England.
I've recently gotten my mixed media artwork website, HomegrownArtworks.com, up and running with WooCommerce.I've had a great time building a beautiful website, and have lots more artwork to add-- as soon as I'm back from my trip! My goal is to work as a marketer half of the day, and spend the other half in my shop making whatever it strikes me to make each day. I work in wood, fiber, stone, metal, resin, and polymer clay, so I never want for ideas.
A quick brag: The trip is to take my mom to Birmingham in order to pick up her teeny, tiny prize for winning an international miniature needlework contest. She is an extraordinary miniaturist, specializing in knitting and other needlework. I'll do a story on her work for my SlowYarn.com blog soon. I already featured her petitpoint Oriental rug in one blog post. Winning a prize for miniature knitting might seem like a small thing to most people, but it's pretty huge for us!
See you all when we get back!

The free version of the Popup Builder has a form for subscription collection which I'm going to play with when I get home. I want that one to come up on the side instead of in-your-face that is so annoying. The one saying I'm not fulfilling orders needed to be in-your-face, though.

Wow - well done both to you and your Mum. Hope the trip goes well.
Thanks! I bought a 128 GB memory stick for photos to bother everyone with when I get home. :)
