To Receive - you have to Give

Having been a while in WA, I'm a bit astonished over why there are so few that use the, Like (thumb up).

"Why should I do that"? Because you help that person to get higher ranking in WA.

I think most of us would like to rank high, and than it's great to get some help from other WA members. Of course there are a few that give a lot Likes, and they almost always have a high ranking (that's something to think about :)

Do not be afraid to touch Like, you will then help others + yourself.

Good Luck!

I agree it is nice to remember to show people that you enjoy what they've written.

I give you you a LIKE for that :)

Kjell your ranking is doing just fine - you must either have blogged a lot or received a lot of likes - Goodonya!
I've liked you, and I also liked the way you spelt "Receive" - very original! ;0)

Thanks for your feedback! Note, I see the spelling mistake, a little embarrassing, but no one is faultless. Perhaps I fix the error :)

I like giving ;-)

Like this a lot :-)

..just touched :-)

Agree 100%

I'll go first...I gave everyone on this page a like!!

Thanks, you must be a great person :)

I LIKE this one Kjell, I also wondering about Another thing, why isn´t everyone here going in at ALL other sites so we get traffic from our own friends here at WA, we need more traffic, we have to give traffic :)

Yes, imagine how much traffic we got if we visited each other's sides. It's something everyone here at WA should do a lot more :)
Thanks for your Reply!

That's supposed to be the purpose of the community. There are enough people in this community to help each other get traffic to their sites, get likes on their FB and Google+ pages,. and even be guest contributors to each others blogs. I preach this constantly.

The WA community provides a great place to practice befriending people and giving value and support to each other. If you can build a community of loyal followers here, you can also do it in the other social networks. Its just a matter of applying the principle.

Hi - I think the problem is FB etc have made "like" such a cliched term that it's back to the old Social Network if you click it. For me, if someone posts something helpful and constructive, I will "like this" it, and if they get cudos from their ranking go up, then great - I'm pleased for them. But that's the way it should be - and google etc I'm sure works like this - what do people like? What helps them? let's reward them by giving them good rankings and hits...

So yeah - I agree with you - if you find something that helps you, "like" it - community is the best way to go imho.

All the best, Mark

Yes, you have a point there Mark. It has certainly for many to do with FB and other social media. I also believe that many have a skepticism, and a bit afraid of what will happen when they press these Like buttons.
Thanks for your Reply!

I love the like button! I don't always have time to write a comment, "like" makes it easy :-)

Agree, Yes it's so quick and easy, and you help that person to get higher ranking. It also feels great to get a Likes :)
