How to get inspiration to make music and new songs? Well, I wasn't actually looking for the inspiration at the moment, yet I found it, and it feels good! And where did I find the musical inspiration? On my own website!
It's Not A Music Website, But It's Inspiring Me To Write Songs.
You might think I must be in the music niche. Well, I'm not. I have a unicorn website. Yet it has become my greatest source of inspiration for song writing.
It started with the official song I made for my website. I thought I would leave it there, I would just make the official song for my website. Surely I wasn't going to make a unicorn album, right?
Well, a unicorn album might be reality at some point. I just made a unicorn themed Halloween song! Of course I published it on my website and my website's YouTube channel.
I can already tell there's going to be a unicorn themed Christmas song too. :D

The best thing is, I'm very happy with the unicorn songs I made. I'm pleased with myself and I feel more confident.
That's not always the case, when I write songs. Often there's something I'm not happy with. But the unicorn songs just feel right.
So, how to get inspiration to make music? As weird as it sounds, from my experience the answer seems to be: Start your own website!
I certainly wasn't expecting to make any music related to my website, when I started it. No, I thought I would just write content and promote other people's products. But when you're a creative person, you never know what happens.
An own website gives you so many opportunities to express yourself. You may not be aware of them when you start your blog, and you don't need to be.
So, I would say just start a website on a topic you're interested in. Anything at all. You don't have to know yet, how you're going to take an advantage of your website. You will find out! The only limit is your imagination.

Exactly, the inspiration often finds you when you least expect it. When you try to "get inspired", nothing happens, and then, all of a sudden it finds you.
That's perfect, I have been trying to find a reason to make a complete song, or what to write about, never even thought about my website.
