Hi. I bought my new site from Go Daddy and the package included them supplying the hosting but, everything I see on the lessons tends to lead me to having to have WA host the s
Hi...have you got this sorted yet?
It will be better for you in the long run to be hosted with WA.
All you have to do is change your DNS settings...do you know how to do that?
You need to point your site from GoDaddy to...
Primary: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: ns2.mywahosting.com

Hi Steve,
I have it sorted now and thanks for your advice
Sorry for the late reply but I have been off the site for quite a while,
All the best, Renny
I don't have a clue, I had been trying to use it for a couple of months but it wouldn't either let me type anything on the screen or display any text. GoDaddy told me it was something to do with the WA servers so I once again tried to get it sorted but still no success so, after talking again with GoDaddy they told me to use their hosting. I did and that works perfectly.
To be honest I really don't want to go through that again because it cost me a lot of time and money (I couldn't do any work so my membership was slowy running out while I was doing nothing), If it can't be fixed I would rather stay with Go Daddy because I can talk to them over the phone or instant chat and get problems solved straight away.
I am located in Oxfordshire, England. The thing was Godaddy offered me better support so I took it! The only problem now is that as I am not hosted by WA I can't share anything so it would appear I am on my own as far as the web site is concerned, nobody on WA can see it (unless they type the web adress in!)

I can't enter any text when I try to edit a page or a post in my wordpress blo
Hey Renny. I think you may want to go to Site Support and put in a ticket. I am not totally sure, but it seems like that's the best way to go to solve an issue like this. Hope that helps.
Sincerely,
Jeanette
Hi Jeanette,
I am going to transfer the site over to GoDaddy, they told me that it will work fine with them. Thanks very much for replying, I appreciate it.
Best regards
Renny
Did you transfer your domain name to WA servers? I am no expert in this but if you are using WA to host your site youbshoukd not need to deal with go daddy.
Hi Shane,
Yes I am using WA servers but I am going to transfer back to GoDaddy because I am pretty sure it will work on there's. They supplied me with a free site so I could transfer all the stuff from my WA site to that and when I'm happ everything is ok I then transfer it to my 'live' site on their server as I know everything works fine there.
Thanks for replying and thanks for the help,
Best regards
