Coffee: The Love of My Life

As a car salesman, every day is a new adventure. It's a game of numbers, a battle of wits, and a test of endurance. But before I hit the showroom floor, there's one thing I need to do, brew myself a cup of coffee. And while I know I don't technically "need" it to survive, it's become an crucial part of my morning routineMy dog, who is a lovable pitbull named Rose, has a knack for waking me up around 5am every day. As much as I love her, I'm not exactly a morning person. So, after taking Rose out for his morning walk, I stumble over to the coffee machine and start brewing.

There's something magical about that first sip of coffee. It's like a jolt of electricity coursing through my veins, waking me up and preparing me for the day ahead. I take a deep breath, savoring the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee, and feel my mind start to clear.

As a salesman, I need to be sharp and quick on my feet. I never know what challenges the day will bring, whether it's a tough negotiation, a fussy customer, or a sudden change in inventory. Coffee helps me stay focused and energized, ready to take on whatever comes my way.

But coffee is more than just a tool for staying awake. It's a ritual, a moment of quiet reflection before the chaos of the day begins. As I sip my coffee, I think about the tasks ahead of me, the goals I want to achieve, and the customers I'll be interacting with. It's a chance to center myself, to find my footing and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Of course, being a car salesman, I have to be quick with a joke or a witty comeback. And coffee helps with that too. There's something about the caffeine and the warmth of the mug in my hands that gets my creative juices flowing. I come up with clever one-liners, smooth transitions, and persuasive arguments that help me close deals and win over customers.

But as much as I love my morning coffee, I also know that it's not the only thing that matters. The real secret to success is hard work, dedication, and a willingness to put in the time and effort to get things done. Coffee may help me start the day on the right foot, but it's up to me to carry that momentum forward and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.

Coffee is just one part of the larger puzzle. But it's a crucial piece, a small but significant step that helps me prepare for the day ahead. So if you see me walking around with a cup of coffee in my hand, you'll know why. It's not just a beverage, it's a way of life.

I enjoy a quiet morning coffee with my wife as we talk about the day ahead. You are right. The activity after the coffee is really what counts, but that quiet time enjoying a hot cup of coffee is nice. We camp a lot. The smell of coffee at a campsite is wonderful.

Coffee is wonderful!

You definitely appreciate a cup of coffee in the morning Keith!

I used to drink the stuff in order to wake up but really didn't enjoy the taste (but I love coffee icecream... go figure)!!

The last few years I have been a green tea with fresh mint and honey man..... it helps me to wake up and tastes a whole lot better in my opinion!

Thanks for the share my friend and all the very best moving forward! :-)

Coffee is certainly a must for a lot of people, especially early in the morning. Just about everyone I know can't go without it either. Is that Rose above...adorable!

Excellent post, indeed! Although I never acquired a taste for coffee, I certainly understand the need for the morning ritual and the moments of reflection.

Good luck to you and Rose in everything you do.

Regards, Matt
