What are the benefits of purchasing a .com domain in your name, i.e., firstLast.com?
Do you have one, and what has your experience been like?
I have not recently look
I definitely have had one for a while since my name is Jeffrey Brown--a very common name, Matt! I even have a very early, but not attended to, website, as well!
Just my 2 cents!
Jeff
Do you write content on it or use it strictly to hold on to it, Jeff?
I appreciate your 2 cents.
-Matt
You're welcome, Matt! I am just happy to have the site and domain right now. It is low cost every year!
Jeff
It's pretty cool and neat, like accountants, attorneys, coaches, or even e-commerce shops. Thus personal branding :)
Some have it to hold a heritage or family name.
Reputation is on the line with your name.
Thank you, Abie. I was hoping you would reply. I always appreciate what you have to offer.

Having your name is huge. I have mine.
The great thing is you can create "you" as the brand.
Also a domain in your name allows you to pivot if needed very quickly.
Yes, I would agree, Leo. Yesterday, I purchased both my .com and .me domains. I have some big ideas for both. It feels like with them, I can go in many directions.
Thank you for your comments.

If you are using Microsoft's built-in Edge Browser, are you experiencing moments when your page either entirely or partially disappears, like the attached image?
I use Chrom
I have my Gmail correspondence accounts opened there. I have quite a few.
Brave is a great browser :)
At one point, I had a CSS issue within my Gmail on Edge, and it sorted itself out.
You can reset the browser if the issues haven't been resolved.
However, if you do, you'd need to log into the different websites, as that sets it to factory settings. You may also want to export your favorites unless you have a sync function similar to Chrome.
Thank you for your response, Abie.
As I said, I use them all, and I have different purposes for the way I use each browser. Chrome and Google in general are starting to drive me nuts. They have such double standards. I know they are a large entity and have thousands of employees with as many different departments but the only way we can make a difference is by limiting our exposure to their ecosystem and line of products. Besides that, I really like many of the tools available in Edge that are just not available in Chrome.
I think I found my problem, and I am pretty certain it was an extension that carried over from Chrome. I removed the extension and reinstalled it for Edge and since then so far no problems.
We will see...keeping 🤞🏻.
Have a wonderful day, and again, thank you for your comments and suggestions.
Kindest regards, Matt
I use Edge for all my personal stuff and Chrome for all my business stuff. No real reason, I just find the separation useful.
I had been finding what you describe happening, but with Chrome rather than Edge, and usually in the evening (internet busier, perhaps). The problem went away when I removed the Chrome extensions.
I appreciate your comment, and I have started turning off extensions one by one to see if I can isolate it to one of them.
Have a great evening, Phil!

Hi Matt, I use the MS Edge Browser on my MacBook Pro. I never had any issues with it. I noticed Chrome has more issues, so I would switch to Edge, and most of the time, I can get through with Edge than with Chrome. I also use Safari—most of the time it's Chrome, Safari, and Edge. The best one for me is Chrome due to the automatic closed captioning features for live videos—especially Jay's Friday night training. I found that what works is to cache all my browsers, reboot my laptop, and everything returns to normal. Try that to troubleshoot. Sometimes it's just one of those things.
Thank you for your comments, Brenda. I have tried all of those things you list. I may have to bite the bullet and return to Chrome full-time if I can't figure it out. It is pretty annoying.
Thanks, Matt

Are the Niche Finder AI and hub tools available through a free starter account? Does it expire, and are starters limited to the number of searches or hubs?
Yeah, but limited :)
I don't think the hub will expire, but the site rubix, for starters, would expire six months from the day they created it.
The work really start when they upgrade :)
there is only one hub...
and on entry they are taken through the hub - no other training until they do this from what i saw in my alter ego....
then after initially setting up the site they are taken ot the training....
i assume it is the same as before - 6 months to deletion...
you have initial access to hte niche finder through the entry but after that no real access
you get 30 searches in jaaxy - total....
and you get to build another website through sitemanager....
here's an overview
Thank you, Phil.
LOL..." alter ego" I like it😉
One hub and no other training until after completion of setting up the hub.
Is the account deleted after six months of inactivity?
Do you get the Niche Finder through the use and setup of the hub?
I appreciate your assistance, Phil, and I hope you have a fantastic day!
-Matt
it is a bit 'in your face ' to start on the platform like that....
there is a short video by kyle and a couple of faqs available....
but you are supposed to only spend 10 mins or so on this section....
yeah right - most will stall there and then disappear...
you get to play with the niche finder in the choose your niche...100 searches....
can't confirm the deletion -but going on the old system this is what happened ....
Matt you can be a free member for as long as you like but they do delete the site after six months
Thank you, Catherine.
Are you referring to the SiteRubix sub-domain?
Have a wonderful day, Catherine!

If you have already been domain verified for GSC, is this something that has to be done annually as your domain registration renews?
Happy Veterans Day, Laurence. Thank you for your service, sir. I wish you the best. I hope you have awesome plans for this special day of yours.
Warmest regards, Matt
Matt, the wife and I just spend some time together enjoying this beautiful day we had. Hope you enjoyed yours.
Larry
Hey, Frank. Thank you, but I had to verify my site again for some reason. Probably because I'm an against-the-grain guy, and I stopped using Google's Chrome browser for Microsoft Edge. I am fed up with Google, especially Chrome.
Thank you again, and regards, Matt.
