About KeironLunn

My name is Keiron and I’m from British Columbia, Canada. I’m 20 years old and I’ve been working since I graduated high school in 2015. The summer after graduating I worked the night shift in a cold storage warehouse 60 hours a week doing 10 hour shifts. It only took a few months to realize that I never wanted to do that again, but I also didn’t want to go to university. I left the warehouse job and got a job as a landscaper working 5 days a week, leaving my house at 6am and getting home at 6pm. I started realizing that the only time I was actually happy was the weekend, when I was free to do what I wanted.

One day after a miserable day at work, I got home and decided to make a change in my life. I would no longer be unhappy with my life. I booked a one way ticket to Thailand to depart in 30 days and I began preparing. Although I only had a short time to prepare, I made sure to make it a goal that I wouldn’t get stressed out about it. Over the next month I slowly did research and made a rough plan of where I would go once I arrived in Bangkok, I bought everything I thought I needed and I then set off on the adventure of a lifetime.

After an amazing couple of months in Thailand and Indonesia, I returned home with a new outlook on life; live a life without any stress, always leave my comfort zone, take every opportunity presented to me. and always make decisions that make myself happiest. Once I got back, I lived in my car for a month while I got certified as a Wildland Firefighter and then went firefighting for the summer of 2017. If you’re reading this now, I’m probably back in Thailand, gaining some more knowledge so that I can help prepare some more people for the trip of a lifetime.

Hi Keiron, nice to meet you! In years past, I was sometimes working three jobs at a time, and I understand the hard slog you describe.

IKYN, I grew up thinking that kind of work was normal. But like you, I had an inflexion point after working on a really awful contract which was so demanding as to be almost impossible, and it just did not go anywhere good!

At the end of it, I was really frazzled, and only a third of my weight.

But I also had a realisation that I wish I'd had sooner: The work I'd just completed was remarkable. I had just pulled off the impossible. I felt so badly ripped off, but at the same time, I'd really tested the limits of what I could do (mentally and physically) and I thought - hey - WHAT IF I did that all over again, but just for ME? What if I dared to selfishly pour that kind of effort into my own personal interests and goals?

I'm so glad you've decided to cultivate that sort of focus now, at 20. Go forth and build beautiful things.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hi Kyle,
I decided to try out premium for a couple of months. I figured if I'm going to give this a shot, I may as well make the most out of it and give it my all.

I would love some feedback on the niches that I chose. For the first one, I was thinking of doing a blog with traveling tips for backpacking Thailand and reviews on amazon products I used on my trip since I have some hands on experience traveling there for a couple months.

For the second one, I want to try and do a super specific niche which is forest firefighting in BC, since I think it will be getting a bit more traffic after the crazy fire seasons we had this past summer, and because that's my full time summer job.

Would love for some constructive feedback!

Your niche ideas are definitely viable directions for your niche. You need to choose one when starting out, what are you most passionate about?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

I know you are going to love Premium and I really do look forward to working with you!

PS. I hope you have an absolutely brilliant weekend! :) Exciting times lie ahead!
