I have several email addresses and this morning received my 19th copy of this email:

But What's the Cost?

Well, with the coupon kindly provided in the email, it's $8.99 (a saving of 95%).

Interestingly, on the order page "unique" is miss-spelt as "unqiue". If they can't even get that right ...

Of course, the $8.99 is just a hook to get you in. The product is marketed on Warrior Plus, so I logged into my account to check the funnel map.

There are no fewer than five upsells, with some having their own "VIP" upsell, for a total funnel value of $234.49.

Shiny Pebble Syndrome

I haven't written about shiny pebble syndrome for a while, but this one was such a blatant example, I felt the need to share it.

Maybe you've received this one, or something similar.

Do you think Amazon will notice if a thousand people all submit the same 410 kids' stories at the same time?

Do you understand that all will be rejected?

Unfortunately, many people desperate to make an online living, fall for this type of shiny pebble.

Even more unfortunately, when it doesn't work, they move onto the next one.

But some are more subtle than others. Make sure you don't fall for one.

Put the work and learning curve into building your own affiliate marketing business. It's what will pay off in the long term.
