Website Flat Line
In my adventures here at WA within the last month, I have learned tons of information, have met a wonderful group of people, who would bend over backwards to help you find a solution or answer to your issues. WA is a great environment to follow your dreams.
In this last month I have started two websites, one being a hobby and the other is my message to help people. Even though they are both new and of course not trusted sites yet, according to siterubix, I have found that one of my sites has flat lined on google analytics for 3 days.
This is very disappointing and disheartening, needless to say.
So with that being said I woke up this morning, being the stubborn a$$ that I can be, has decided that I am going to find a way to bring the LACK of numbers up to at least one. But, the question is how?
I have the social media sites going, and I would say that I have ranked the first page of google in about 85% of my published works.
So after some thought this morning I remembered to use free advertising site, which is going to be my priority today. The next step is to re-evaluate my keywords and headlines, so that I can reach more people even if I am not on the first page of google.
I know it is only the first month, good things come in time, but in order to succeed I need to do the work and follow-up to ensure things are going forward without to many steps backwards.
The one thing I want anyone who reads this blog to know is that you have helped me get where I am today, and I could not thank you enough for all the support and information that is received through the family at WA. Thank you so much. You all inspire me to move forward.

Hi Kelly,
Based on my own experiences, it just takes time for a new website to eventually get recognized by Google/Yahoo and Bing. Keep plugging away and if you can prove that you will keep consistently adding great content then your ranking and # of visitors will improve.
Probably many of us here at WA at one time or another went through the same thing with each of our new websites!

Thank you for the positive outlook on this topic. I hate that others have experienced this as I want everyone to have success.
It is hard to watch something that I am passionate about flat-line, but I know this is only a small setback. I am a person who has the resilience to pick up and get it right, everything is only a minor setback, or for me to research and find ways that work. Thomas Edisons theory of 1000 ways it didn't work to get to the one that did. I will find the way.
I don't give up easily, just have to refocus my time and energy towards another avenue of success with the website.
Thank you again for the upbeat positive attitude, it just help to reinforce my mindset.

I just wonder if I picked the right keywords to get the right amount of traffic.
If you are on page 1, traffic really should come naturally due to your visibility.... I'm hardly an expert, but it seems to me that if you have enough page 1 rankings, it should be pretty hard NOT to get traffic.
Don't be disheartened, you are not the only one. I haven't seen yet money on my site. What I can only see is that its traffic is gradually increasing and that's enough for me to rest my hope.
On the affiliate programs, I haven't yet connected to any so I am not expecting commissions.
My aim is to populate my site with content and see how conversion comes. Time only will tell.

I believe the disheartening not about money, it is all the hard work and time that has be incorporated into making the sites and it flat-lined. Not one person in days. But that will change, I hit the bottom of the barrel with one of my sites, but it can be retrieved and brought back to life, and I am determined to make it happen.

My site is 3 months old, a dot.com domain and I've seen very little activity. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong along the way, but I'm furiously adding content as much as I can. I'm also using low-hanging fruit keywords so it's a bit of a puzzle why the numbers are so low...
Like you, I will continue and learn as much as I can. I think I will throw a huge party when I get my first conversion, after finally getting the traffic right!

I have read Kyle's story a couple of time stating it took a few months to get things rolling, and others saying it will take up to a year to really have your site where it is making the profit you want.
But like you I worrying about how to find ways to even increase the traffic a little every month. I feel there is something missing that I am not doing that is keeping me from success of any kind.
I want to start another site in the next month but until I get the numbers up on the other two I don't dare waste my time.
I am sure that your site will take off before you know it. Its a waiting while working to receive the benefits.

Thank you for the compliment I appreciate that you said that. :)
I like that you asked that question. There are a ton of advertising sites where you can place ads to boost your website and articles. Google free classified ads and they will pop up for you. Make sure you read exactly how they work as one that I use you have to go through every state put it can be done in like 15 to 20 minutes.
