Does anyone use Instagram as a way to promote your site through social media? Not sure if it would be worth it.
I think instagram would be a fun way to get your audience involved. Of course it all depends on your niche. Personally, I have found that Facebook is the best way to get an audience engaged.
Creating an actual page for your website can acquire likes and new followers. Plus you can post and keep them updated on the newest articles and deals!
If you have a lot of images you wan to share it could work, or if you wan to promote your "brand" ie yourself, it could also work. Depends on your niche. I don't use it, but I know it's popular with certain groups.
But so ar Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, and other social media niches. Just depends on what YOU enjoy!

Was just wondering how many advertisements are typically on the homepage of successful sites. I have 2 affiliate ads and a adsense, all fairly large. I still want my site to look
Yes, it looks clean, but you wouldn't know to scroll down to the bottom one as there's no text opposite it. I like that big rotating thingy. :)
I would go with just one. If you have extra space you want to fill, I would put a link to a "top 10" or "top 5" page on your blog...and of course have affiliate links on that page!
Opinions on my homepage ad placement?

Thank you both! I'll give it a shot!
