Should I be Worried?
My apologies for being a bit quiet this year, I have had some challenges, shall we say. My computer blew up early in the year, and I have been forced to use my laptop. I don't like using my laptop for work because it hass not got the processing power of my PC. My progress has been slower and more labored than normal.
This has been particularly annoying because I took time off in December to plan my strategies for the coming year. My philosphy is always have a businbess plan, because if you fail to plan, then you may well plan to fail. Having said that when life throws you a CURVED BALL you have to be flexible in your approach and work around it, never give up.
This morning I received a pm from Ibraham asking a specific question why he is not getting anywhere. Well Ibraham you joined on the 28th of December 2014 I make that 2 weeks ago.
As anyone who reads my posts often know I am not a huge fan of the one day at a time approach to Internet marketing and that is because I have been self employed all my life and I know that entrepreneurs think differently from people who are content to work for other people.
If you want to make that transition from being an employee to financial freedom then you have to change the way that you think, however this change cannot happen overnight because you need time to assimilate new ideas.
This is where tenacity and self belief come in, if you like blind faith, entrepreneurs don't think about success or failure, they just keep ploughing forward. To follow your dreams you need a certain amount of ruthlessness, yuou need to cut out distractions and white noise and be totally focused and single minded,
Another reason why I don't like the one brick in the wall approach, it's consistent maybe but it is not going to lead to any great success. That approach means that you can try to start a business but in a half hearted way.
Entrepreneurs forge ahead because they don't try to write a book, train for a marathon and develop a plugin all at once. Lots of people have great ideas and great dreams, but successful people hone into the one thing they really want and make it happen, it is as if there life depended on it.
I am not saying this is easy it is not. It may even lose you friends! That is the price that you have to pay for a little while as you get what you want. Dividing your attentions just means that you cannot be singleminded and if you are not then you will are setting yourself up to fail. The one brick in the wall type of advice is for those willing to settle for mediocrity.

Don't get distracted if you have mixed feelings you are being pulled in more than one directions and the more directions you are being pulled in the more likely you are to fall at the first hurdle. Don't settle for mediicrity commit yourself to your gaol wholeheartedly and go for it.

It is this wonderful transition period of 'assimilation' that is the hardest for anyone who has solid root in the '9 to 5' lifestyle or a corporate/professional background....it is not because it is now 'unstructured'....it is merely because we have entered a whole new world....like uprooting yourself from where you live to another place where you don't speak the language, live the same way.....
I know that Rosie it is a whole new ball game with a whole new and different language, but it is a language you can learn like any other.

I submit to God first before I implement anything in my life. I want to make sure things that I do can glorify His name. It is meaningless for me with these achievements in my life without Him.
I appreciate Him a lot this year cause He has restored my mental capacity ( due to my forgetfulness ), my momentum to shine for the Kingdom of heaven; has been increased ( by loving Jesus everyday), and pleasing Him in all of my works ( just like now - simply acknowledging Him), then the rest will flow according to His plan.
He will overly blessed us even for the things we did not plan for. This is how it works for me - hope it works Ibraham too if he is reading this.

Thank you so much Catherine. My way of thinking that if more people that worry about the money have to make big and like you say build it one brick at a time and forge one to your dream. Don't be afraid of the future it will come art its own pace whether you are ready for it or not.
Ibraham you sure get around and so early in your presence here. Patience is a virtue which is not really part of the program here. If you wish to make money in your fist few days maybe you should tackle some of the scam s out there to put you back into reality.

I had a little chuckle while reading because it felt like you were talking about me. When I decided I am going to do something, I just plow ahead and don't think about IF, there is no IF. Not saying I don't have my moments of distraction, but I always get back on track.

While I find the arm quite disturbing :-) (I was never a fan of muscles that big), you made some great points. Every distraction you have dilutes your progress. I wish the newcomers would change their mindset. You don't put a website up and expect immediate results. ~Debbi
