I would like to choose: "natural sleep remedies for insomnia" for my domaine name. I am just wondering if it could be too long?
Hi Karol1yn, It's hard to say. At one time it was said the shorter the better so people can remember and less chance of miss spelling. However, if you cruise the net you see some long ones. Sorry, I don't think I'm being much help to you.
Thank you for your help, it's a good point, maybe I'll go with:natural sleep remedies. I'll look it up on keyword tool.

Today most of the people are doing research on google and click then the URL or if it is an interesting website the bookmark, so the length of a domain name has less importance then years ago.
Thank you Giludi. It's reassuring because I chose: "natural sleep remedies and tips." The shorter ones were already taken.

At namecheap.com my domaine name: Sleepremediesforadults is not available for Canada, but org is ; also,sleepremediesadults.com is available. Is it bad that I take off the "for"
Yes .com is best, .org is good too. Im starting over again here but your title does not have to match your niche per se.. for example look at Amazon, has nothing to do with products, you think the rainforest somewhere right. but now is branded so everything changes. To be similar tho, you might consider something like: Adults need Sleep too And then make natural remedies one of your categories or pages :) Its just an example, lots of different heading titles we could use when something we want is already taken.
I just did a search for sleepremediesforadults.com and it is available. A dot com domain is the best choice, I think! Go check it out at GoDaddy.com :)
You can also pay through a PayPal account, which you would have to set up. The other options are credit or debit card that has a visa number. Hope this helps. GoDaddy are really helpful and you can call them 24/7. Your number would be different than mine from the UK but if it isn't free-phone then the most cost-effective way to call is through your Google+ account! Let me know if I can help further.
It does not matter where you purchase your domain. If it is unavailable one place then it will be unavailable everywhere. Since you apparently are targeting a keyword you might save that keyword for an article title and just use something similar for your domain. Exact match domain does not mean as much now as it used to.
