5 ways to avoid scams online!
5 WAYS TO AVOID SCAMS ONLINE
There are lots of scams out there particularly in affiliate marketing
Even the legit websites just want you to pay for there "High Ticket" upsells
So how do you spot a SCAM?
Here are some pointers
1. TRANSPARENT PRICING?
Ia the program your interested in transparent with its pricing?
In other words does the website tell you from the get go its pricing structure?
PARTICULARLY ITS UPSELLS?!
An upsell is usually done at the "back end" of a website/sales funnel
You are lured in the "front end" of the website with a free gift or something which gives you VALUE
You then move up the VALUE LADDER
Only to be told that in order for you to go further you need to pay eg $1999
Its a SHOCK and believe me I found out the hard way!
You can check via a Google Search for a programs pricing structure just type in the name of the program then pricing
2. BE VERY WARY OF THE SLICK SALES VIDEO!
This usually involves the leader of the program giving you a rags to riches story of how they where an high school dropout blah blah blah
BUT now they are earning 6-7 figures sums a year etc blah blah blah
Not only that but YOU can earn as well as long as you sign up to their program for $47 a month blah blah blah
They will use words such as "freedom" "lifestyle" "the life you deserve" "earn $3500 a day" blah blah blah
This is probably the first RED FLAG that the program is a SCAM!
2. CHECK ON SCAM WEBSITES
There are lots of websites such as barenakedscam.com which will tell you whether a certain program is a SCAM
Type into Google Search the program name followed by scam or reiview
However if someone is stating how great the program is the chances are that they are an affiliate of that program and will earn commission every time someone clicks on their link!
You can tell an affiliate link as its usually longer than most links or it may have been shortened by a URL shortener eg
- bit.ly
- goo
- tiny
3. DON'T TRUST REVIEWS ON YOUTUBE!
Youtube is another way of SCAM websites getting their affiliates to post favourable videos about their products
They usually use highly exaggerated 'clickbait' titles simply to get more views
eg How to make $10,000 a month online
The TRUTH is if it sounds too good to be true it usually is...
5. YOU GET YOUR OWN COACH!
As soon as you see this is part of the program you need to turn away and RUN!
The "coach" is really a salesperson who gets a cut of your money if you move through the program and buy their products
It wont be long before your coach is telling you to "invest in your business"
and asking you for $2000....and that's only the beginning!
These so called "High Ticket" programs can charge up to $30,000!
These are 5 sure ways of how to spot a SCAM online
