From the beginning of time, people have attempted new things—and fallen (failed). The difference between the ones who stay down and the ones who rise up is a matter of choice. The ones who rise up choose to get up each time they fall—and they will fall! (And most of the time without a parachute!)
I have fallen hundreds of times. I think most of us have a claim to that fame. It's a part of learning—a part of life.
Those who don't get back up are probably not here reading this post.
The thing about falling is that it isn't permanent. We have choices. We can lay on the ground and fuss about it or we can get back up and try again.
I like to think about it like the Late Inventor Thomas A. Edison did. "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
I am quite sure I could match his 10,000 ways that don't work!
The point is, we only fail if we stay down when we fall. And we all fall at one point or another.
Just remember to get back up.

GREAT post, Karin! I love how you weave everything together so well! We should all be like babies! When they fall while learning to walk they get right up again--they have no concept yet of failure!

Thanks, Jeff. I hold that in high regard. Yep, we should be more like babies or young children who fall and get up over and over and over again. I'm working hard to teach my granddaughter that falling is not the end of the story.

I just can't keep up with you! Amazing post. So true. I work with a woman who is one that just falls and stays there. I struggle to keep a positive attitude, so I turn to WA for that energy.
You are so right, when we fall, we have to get back up and try a different strategy or just plan redo.
