I just received the dreaded Amazon letter
When I saw the e-mail in my inbox, I knew right away something was wrong. I had heard other people on WA talk about this e-mail, so I almost knew it by heart:
"Thank you again for joining the Amazon Associates program. We are reaching out to you because we have not seen qualified sales activity on your account. As a reminder, Associate accounts that have not referred three required sales to Amazon.com within 180 days of sign-up will be automatically rejected. At this time, you have 90 days left to drive qualified sales and avoid termination and closure of your account."
Ugh! I kind of felt like I was reading a "Dear John" letter... Amazon was letting me know they were going to "break-up" with me!
I thought about it for a moment. "What am I going to do?"
Well, being the little "ray of sunshine" that I am, I tried to look on the bright side... "Well, maybe someone will 'accidentally' buy something through the use of my website." But let's be realistic.
What it did make me truly realize is that I need to get my butt in gear. I would like to make a sale through my site, but I need to keep working on my site and advancing it for people so that readers/seekers of knowledge will come to my site in the first place!
So, with the motivation of that letter behind me, I am now working just a bit harder to make my site the best grandparents raising grandchildren site there is!
I could have let the receipt of that letter bum me out and send me spiraling into depression, but I'm not going to let any e-mail, letter, glitch or temporary set-back make me quit doing what I love to do and that is creating website and talking about my awesome grandchildren!
So if you get that little e-mail from Amazon because you haven't made any sales from your site, don't let it get you down. Instead, treat it as a sign that you just need to keep working! That's what I'm doing!

Wow! I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now. I know I’m piping off everyone else but, really, just try to hang in there. It won’t be the end and there are plenty of other affiliates to work with.
Never let them make you sweat. Dance to your own music and let God be your DJ. You have a lot of support here. I wish you much success.

Feel free to share your affiliate link with me. I may buy a few things on there within the next 90 days :).
Sorry to hear that you may lose your associates with Amazon I guess mine is on the way I have not made any sale either. Well, Whatever will be will be. I am doing my best.
Great story, I just loved it, it made me smile :)
And don't give up, it was no more than a wake-up call.
Get out there and fight for financial independence :)
