A dead-end street? No way!

Take a bad situation and try to make something good come out of it. Remember, when you come to a dead-end street, you can always turn around. ~from The Check Book: 200 Ways to Balance Your Life.

I live right next to a dead-end street. Even though there is a sign on my corner of the street clearly letting drivers know that it is a dead-end, you would not believe the amount of traffic that goes down the street only to have to turn around in half a block because the street ends!

I am not sure if people don't see the sign or the obvious fact that the street ENDS in roughly 1/2 a block or if they don't believe the sign or what. All I know is that I see a lot of people turn in frustration when they find that the street ended!

Perhaps we humans are like this in other things, too. We don't read the signs or just don't believe them. Perhaps we see what we want to see rather than what really is.

###marker1###I am glad that the "signs" here at Wealthy Affiliate are very clear and understandable. I am glad that when we don't understand, there are people here that will help us to understand and make sense of the many "signs" that are before us.

I am happy that I found Wealthy Affiliate and that the program is working. But like anything else in life, it only works if I do. I have to follow the instructions and then be patient. I have to believe that what I'm doing will net lead to a dead-end, but to a beautiful and helpful website.

I do believe!
