The exigent nature of traffic and list building!
As some of you know I'm on a traffic mission lately...
I have researched so many different methods my head is spinning! :D
So far it seems organic traffic is the hardest to obtain because it involves A LOT of leg work and SEO as we are taught here at WA. This is a long term endeavor but one that will sustain stability. You want your organic traffic to outgrow the direct traffic long term.
Managed to get more organic traffic this week! Yaaaay ^^,
The bounce rate is almost non existent! That is good right? :)
Then I installed a flag counter not too long ago just to keep track of all the international visitors, to see if something was happening overall and for extra verification.
This is the result after finding a gentleman on Fiverr who helped me get more traffic for only $6! He sends about 80-100 visitors daily to my website. He has a summer special at the moment $5 +$1 (Fiverr transaction fee) = $6 for 2 months of free traffic (80-100 per day).
So $6 for about 6000 visitors (non targeted) is not bad, hopefully there will be a few conversions as a result. I am getting sign ups so my list building is going well!

Looks like they filling up here but while monitoring the traffic I did notice that about 80% of these visitors don't move past the homepage. This might mean they found what they were looking for in the widget / footer area or clicked on a hyperlink that will lead them off my site but to potentially join one of the affiliate or service programs offered.
If you PM me I will be happy to introduce you to the gentleman who helped me get this traffic, I have no gain from this as there is no monetary affiliation here.
So this is how my traffic looked the day before I bought his traffic service and then you can see the next day (where the gray line is) it started spiking upward...

I tested it today on some of my contacts and friends but officially going to release it on Saturday.
great if you make a combination of different sources you are all in. Keep the list warm and don't let it get cold.
Receiving large amounts of traffic is good - if it is targeted traffic. Unfortunately most of the 'guaranteed traffic' one gets from a traffic exchange only runs up your stats without increasing CTA's or sales. Granted this may help increase the website rankings but only for a short period of time.
I personally think your best traffic option is what WA recommends, which is manually contact all of your social media channels and get user exchange, comments, etc to grow your traffic with more targeted visitors.

I have actually been doing everything according to the lessons but after 6 months if nothing is happening then I needed to change something :)
Am active on 3 social media platforms but there is only so much time during the day + I have a full-time job on top of all this.
Some people are able to get mass traffic not using SM at all so it all depends what works for who I guess, not every method works the same for everyone.

Yes, you are so right, Kamil. I also have a full time job that pays my bills (barely) while I build my online presence. A lot depends on the niche that you are in and which SM channels you are networking with.
