Is there a way that when I post a blog I can direct my post onto certain pages as well as my blog feed? Am I making sense? lol. Or is that considering to much duplication for googl

Thanks for taking the time to answer me everyone. I figured it out :) Luckily for me my theme was set up to do this I just couldn't figure it out but basically I have to set up a menu for my categories and navigate the categories into sub pages.

Thanks for the help everyone. Essentially I would like to have more of a static home page and when I post I want my posts to go onto the page that the subject is on. This is more of a personal blog rather than a affiliate site so I'll be covering a few different categories.

I don't want to just link them to the page as it isn't aesthetically appealing I would rather it look like how it does when you post on the home page. My theme only has the option to choose one page to post when your home page is static so I'm just wondering if there was a widjet or plugin that anyone knows. Or a theme that supports this idea.

Nomda do you know what widget I would use?

Thanks again!!

Kadillac, you can use categories for your blogs and use widgets to add the posts to them. Widgets are in your Appearance section. You can add a category to your sidebar and name it what you want. Then drag your posts to that category on your sidebar. When you write the post, you need to make sure to select which category it goes in instead of undetermined. However, you do have to go back to widgets and add the next post whenever you write them. Hope this helps?

Cant you just make a "link" on the page that refers to your post. Example refer to the post title in the page, highlight the title, copy the url of the post, and link to the specific words on the page. Similar to what you do when you link your WA affiliate url to the words Wealthy Affiliate in a page or post.

it strikes me that a widget area with post excerpts in it would be one way of doing this...without running a duplicate penalty aspect..as per what T is saying- would this do the trick?

If you want the same thing to appear on a page as you do a blog roll, that is considered duplicate content.

Hello msant,
I was afraid I wasn't making sense :) Thank you for attempting though. Ok so basically I am creating a blog for advice to women on dating, love etc. My website is called Cool Sexy Love and I have a separate page for each so when I post on certain topics I would like the posts to not only be on my home page but also linked to the page that the post is written on. But I don't want just a hyperlink I would like it to show on the pages with the pictures the same as it does on my home page. The only way I know how to link is just by creating a hyperlink but I essentially don't want a list of hyper links. Am I making more sense now? lol. Essentially I want to build my content with posts.

hm i was thinking how to do it to, but so far no luck, hope you will get clear on this question :))

My guess is that you could make a post and then copy it and make a new page with the same topic (paste the same content from your post on the page), but set the page off for SEO. There's a training for hidden pages that could be useful for that too

Hello, Please explain a little further about the direction you want to do :)
You can link your post to a page/pages if you want, and when you submit the post, it will automaticaly be on your resent posts (home page, if set so). Dont know if that answers your question. lol

I've been approved by google adsense for one of my sites. I have started another site and I am wondering do I need approval from my new site again or can use my existing account to

Thank you!

Hi,

Once you've been approved by Google for the AdSense programme, and have been given a "Publisher ID", you can use the "pub-xxx" code on any of your websites, without needing them to be approved.

Otherwise, you'd need 20 different AdSense accounts for 20 different sites; it simply doesn't go like that.

For once, Google has kept it simple for us!

Hope this helps,
-Josh

I am unable to log on to any of my websites and wondering if anyone else is having a problem as well. I am getting this error message. I submitted a support ticket but haven't hear

Thank you! All good now :)

I have when I had multiple tabs open. Just close out the other tabs and you should not have any trouble.

I am not having any problems. Try a different browser like Google Chrome. If that doesn't work deactivate unneeded plugins to see if that helps. Too many plugins create problems (I know!).

Is anyone having problems loging into their websites?
