Hey WA world,

So I am building my site and as much as I disagree with copy and paste my dilemma is my site is based on juicing and I want to add some recipes but I don't have any from my own. Anyone have any suggestions to how I can add some recipes without Plagiarism?

Thank you!!

Hi Kadillac....My niche is organics (foods, gardening, products) and I understand what you are saying. There are many things with organics as well that are pretty cut & dry. I read a lot of material, and then re-word it as best that I can. I add an idea or two. Just try to make it as original as possible.

Thank you for the feedback Melanie. I guess as I build I will find some generic recipes for now and like Starrlett mentioned start experimenting with my own.

Kadillac I'm in a similar niche to you (cooking healthy) and I intend to write about juicing, smoothies etc.. In order to take the onus of these recipes I agree with SoloMon3y, reword any recipes that you find.

To be honest with recipes, once you start to experiment you will eventually be creating your own anyway. Read a few books and subscribe to some bloggers, that's where I draw my inspiration from.

Yes great idea Starrlett subscribing to bloggers! The only problem with re-wording recipes for juicing is the recipes are pretty basic: 1 apple, 2 carrots, 1 celery.... and being you are a cook I'm sure you understand my dilemma :) But thank you for your feedback I will definitely follow some blogs!

Fist off, that's a great niche to be in! I think just adding a description at the top in your own words, then having a themed layout you keep constant would be enough. Not necessarily copying and pasting, just look at the recipe and write it in your own words. ie. -Put 2 eggs into large container vs -Add 2 eggs to a large bowl. If you kinda catch my drift.

Thank you SoloMon3y on the encouragement! This is my first site more of a trial and error to get a jist of the process. The more I am building it the more I am loving the process! Good idea about putting it in my own words. I figured that was the way I should go but figured I would see what other thoughts are :)
