Having a problem with your content?

Lets face it, writing is a skill and not something that comes naturally to everyone. Coming up with content has to probably be one of the hardest thing to do. You have to be creative yet still be informative and depending on what your niche is come up with something different that will entice the consumer. Depending on your niche it is most likely the information out there is pretty much repetitive. How do you keep up with new content yet be fresh and tell people "follow me" "trust me".

What I have done is I want to see what my competition is. Lets see what they are writing about, the information they are giving and most importantly how can I be different.

I have signed up to many newsletters to sites that write on my niche. This way I can see what others are writing about, their marketing tactics and their writing style. It shows me what they are offering in their sites and lets me know what I need to do differently so I am not just a generic site. It gives me ideas on what not to write about but also what to write about. It shows me their marketing tactics on what they are giving away to promote what they are selling.

You have to remember that even though this is your site and you are bringing information to people fact is you have to see what your competition is and keep up. People tend to follow someone who is not only informative yet they offer something the others don't.
