You need to be affiliated with the program.
Your site need be ready before you apply for affiliate programs
You would need content and TRAFFIC before applying to affiliate programs as typically they would inspect your site prior approval.
You may be able to get accepted to Amazon sooner however you still have to satisfy the quota doing three sales in 180 days.
Once accepted, they've given you material and special tracking code links you can share on your site.
Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.
Once they do, and in accordance with your affiliation terms and conditions, how commission payouts are tracked and paid. You need to read up how payments are made because different programs follow different rules; some pay by check others via PayPal or straight to your check account.
I would always adhere to your affiliate program terms and conditions.

In order to give a 3rd party access to your website backend, create a new user with admin privileges (I use the name TempAdmin) give them the credentials and delete the user when they've finished.
This has landed in the community, is it meant for site support?
You may add a user, give them privileges and provide those details, and once the job is done, you may then delete user credentials.
I would ask them to try the issue on their own test site. If they are the developers couldn't they set up a scenario like yours and test it.
Do you know what plugin is in conflict?
Maybe you could have site support COPY your LIVE website to a http://Siterubix.com website and check the site settings reading "Discourage search engines to crawl. and then give the tech teach access to your http://siterubix.com stie. if that is the last resort.
I would be a bit leery of this, John, like you seem to be. I want to see what answers you get, just in case I experince this issue down the road, my friend!

I have bought my domain name.
Should I select Word Press as my email domain provider?
Are there instructions for the next step creating new CNAME 1, CNAME 2 records usin
"WordPress" would not be your domain email provider. They are talking about WordPress.com I believe in this case. Wealthy Affiliate would be your domain email provider. I'm surprised that Mailchimp is asking you to make those changes regarding CNAME, or was that your own assumption? What is mailchimp asking you to integrate?
Custom DNS settings or custom mail settings can be done through SiteSupport, but I'm not sure if you need to actually do that, unless you are using some sort of MailChimp tool I'm unaware of. Are you just verifying domain ownership?
Hi, : )
I have been following Maichmips instructions to send successful campaign emails. As much as I want to avoid spending hours send 500 emails at a time. Not me. So, Mailchimps free tools seem to fix my requirements. During the setup it recommended that I authenticate my domain, which I completed through Word Press.

I appreciate your opinion if I should attempt it to help my email reach my recipients' inbox, by setting up my email authentication for my custom email through MailChimp.

I appreciate your time and feedback.
So is your site not hosted on Wealthy Affiliate? If your site is hosted here on Wealthy Affiliate, then there should be no connection to WordPress.com. You would do verification through Wealthy Affiliate, either at the domain level or via email.
Sounds like you got this solved though. Just checking in to make sure you got it figured out!
WA hosts websites that use Wordpress. If you wish your domain name website to be hosted on WA it is important to use WordPress. With a purchased domain name you get free email addresses.
