During this month of being kind to your mind and to others, I would love to invite you all to take a sticky there's one for everyone in the audience.

I wrote some positive affirmations today and left them around the house for my family to find inside wardrobe doors and kitchen presses, on mirrors, on the fridge and notice board etc.

Simple yet effective way to spread some positive vibes among my family and so I wanted to extend the positive energy to you my tribe - hence the post!

So grab a {{virtual}} sticky and embrace the message within, for you are all worthy recipients.

I would also just like to take this opportunity to thank you for being my friend and for all the encouragment you bestow upon me!

As the Irish Proverb says "A good friend is like a four-leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have"

Have a great week one and all - Jules

Aww.. That's so sweet, Jules. A company called Current in Colorado used to make little cards like that to stick in lunch boxes or stash in different places around the house. They probably still have them. I used to use those when my kids were young and still at home. Great idea using sticky notes!!!

Paula

Thanks Paula, I'm sure that company had a lot of success with those cards, my kiddos love to get random notes in their lunch boxes, they even reply back to me - so a little surprise awaits when I'm cleaning out the boxes later in the day ;-)

Great idea, Jules!
I used to do this when my son was little because he has ADHD. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Although very intelligent, he could sit still or focus longer enough to complete a task.
So, I would leave stickys around the house to encourage him to finish what he's started or just praise him when he did well. Just little notes to help get him through the day without being frustrated at himself and not to give up.

Barbara

Wow that is lovely to hear Barbara, great idea too, I'm sure he appreciated the words of encouragement!

I randomly leave love notes in my children's lunch boxes for them to find- works a treat and has the desired affect. ❤💜

Thank you, Jules!
It worked very well for me after a therapist we were seeing suggested I give it a try.

Barbara

I love this!

This is exactly what you should do is to have positive affirmations to yourself.

We need to be careful with respect to what we tell ourselves because our brains are like computers that remember everything - we do not have a delete button, however.

And your family should be these affirmations as well - likely they get criticism many days from various sources and would enjoy these words from you!

Dave.

Thanks Dave you are right of course, self talk can be quite appalling sometimes...we need to reverse the damage done!

At home my daughter loves to get them, my son (& husband) are somewhat bemused when they find them 🤣

This is a surprisingly simple yet effective way to communicate!

The hospital where I work has 2-3 computer stations installed every 25' - 30' apart along the entire length of every hall on every floor. From time to time an anonymous staff member will write affirmations on sticky notes and place them on random computer screens.
It's like opening a fortune cookie to look on a screen and read, what usually becomes, a very timely affirmation!

Thanks for sharing!

Oh Wow, I absolutely love this idea Susan, how very thoughtful!

So much happiness and positivity can be spread in so many ways and this is a prime example. I love that nobody knows who is doing it...

Taking this opportunity to add you to my network 🙂
