Jaaxy Rank CheckToday was earmarked to check my website post rankings on Jaaxy and cross-check them using the incognito feature on Google/Bing/Yahoo search engines. To begin I generally check those post that have already ranked. The reason for this is two-fold, first to check that they are still ranking and second to check that they've not lost their ranked status. My little heart always dips a bit when I see that red arrow facing downwards :-(On the other hand my all time favourite image is...F

On 7th August 2019 I joined WA as a Digital Entreprenuer Virgin! The definition of a virgin in this instance describes me wonderfully - "a person who is naive, innocent, or inexperienced in a particular context" However testament to the superb training available on this platform, within a day of joining WA I had created my very first website and had started my very first relationship with Google, and of course Bing & Yahoo :-)And now today 8th May 2020 - 9 months to the date of creating m

...Hmm...gonna try with a little help from my friends....When I awoke this morning my sole intention was to work on learning and implementing WA affiliate links to promote the "Black Friday Pricing" before the price goes up. I discovered a whole host of information kindly shared by so many clever WA friends to enable me to reach my goal - and THAT dear readers is WHAT I LOVE about this platform, this is pure PRICELESS....First up I learned from @Leos how to create my very own Custom Home Page L

Today Thursday 30th April was the day my firstborn was to make his Confirmation. Confirmation is also one of the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church, the other two being Baptism and Holy Communion.Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus his Confirmation did not happen today. All is not lost, he will be confirmed - some day - his church and his school are working towards setting a date for this sacrament in the future, in whatever way that celebration will now look.Amidst all t

So following my revelations in yesterday's post I decided today I would investigate why Yahoo! was "ignoring me". If you missed the post from yesterday you can read it here, it might shed some clarity on the reason for this post ;-)The first thing I did was check My Sites- Bing WebMaster tools. I am satisfied that my website is verified and is being crawled by the bing bots. When I tried to check with Yahoo! I discovered as previously suspected that Yahoo! search is powered by Bing. Today is a GREAT day… almost all of my days since the pandemic have been various degrees of good/alright/grand/OK/meh/blah of some description or another and I had almost forgotten what a great day felt like. A great day for me - is when my day starts out ordinary and something happens in the day to make it extraordinary!Today Saturday 25th April is a GREAT day! It’s been so long since I checked where my published articles rank on Google that today I decided on a whim I might go t

Just dropping in to wish you all an Easter Sunday blessed with life, peace and love. No matter what your faith may be, this special time of year brings new life and growth to the earth, flowers are beginning to bloom and young animals are born, it is truly a time to rejoice and be thankful for the gift of life, and perhaps never more so than during this particular time we find ourselves in. On that vein I read something today which I would like to share with you, and whatever you think at th

We are living in very strange and for some of us very scary times, of that there is no doubt! Our new “normalities” or “realities” have for the most part been “imposed” upon us, whether that is self-imposed or government imposed - there are a lot of restrictions! For many of us this new way of life is now our “new norm” and in order to get through it, we all have to find a way to deal with it in our own way. There are no right or wrong way. Where
