Do You Strive to Thrive?
Striving to go higher and thrive... is what having a “growth mindset” is all about!
Sometimes when we feel stuck or challenged it can be easier to adopt a fixed mindset that is not neccessarily conductive to success. The secret to seeing the beneift within our struggles is to shift our mindsets about the perceived challenge we’re facing and open yourself up to more opportunities and experience great health and wellbeing along the way.
We only get one chance in life to be ourselves, how many times have you heard that and nodded, but say the words very slowly out loud and really think about what it means...
"I only get one chance in life to be me, to live this life in this moment of time with this body and this mind"What we do today will impact how we feel tomorrow and all the other tomorrows. The more you strive today the better you thrive tomorrow.
And the beauty of it all is that every day we a “gifted a new day” the present and a new opportunity to do better than the day before.
Below are a selection of my favourite quotes of encouragement perhaps you'll find one that resonates with you;

- “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So… sail away from the safe harbor. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
- “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” – Thomas A. Edison
- “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed no hope at all.” – Dale Carnegie

Excellent topic and blog Jules. I love the inspirational quotes. We learn a lot more from failures than successes don’t we?

Great blog Jules! I had read a few of the quotes before as my son, tennis player, has a sports psychologist that has inspired my son and he lives by his positive mindset. He loves tennis, he loses a fair bit but says you learn more from losing a match. He loves the win too, but knows that his last match does not define him. I’ve learned a lot from listening to him.
Great Helen that he realises his failures carry lessons and do not define his journey...so important to cultivate a positive mindset in our children...benefits will last a lifetime! All the best to him in this tennis career, Jules

Great post!
Success is the fruit of multiple failures, that's why when we reach our goal after a long way, our mind is really much stronger than before all these trials.
