Confused....
I must admit I am slightly confused and a bit perturbed by the fact my ranking has changed so dramatically. I was moving along nicely gradually changing in a positive way , then Wham bam it shot right up again which made feel like all the word I was doing resulted in nothing.
The explanations I received was that maybe Kyle and Carson were playing around with the algorithms , to ask them why which I will do . Watch this space ....

I only have one comment with regards to the ranking mine also went way down. I was forced the stop for a couple of days, because my eyes were giving me a lot of trouble. I find it really hard to work on a website all day and then have to read all of that mail, it is all way more time consuming than I ever dreamed. So I am not going to worry about ranking! Now I have a question, probably a stupid one but here goes.
I have been trying for a month to post a blog and I am unable to do it. Now I am supposed to be doing the 30 in 30 challenge and I have not been able to do a file transfer or a paste. I have been through the level 1 Training about 4 times and can not find anything about a blog account. Then I started 2 blog accounts yesterday, and they are not compatible with Windows 7 office, which is where I was creating my blogs. Any ideas would be sooooooo very welcome.
SharonAllen, street articles (if you are referring to that), are not nearly as important as they used to be. You are better off adding to your website, rather worrying about StreetArticles
Hi Judith! Barry is so right! PLEASE don't get hooked up on the ranking. If you really, really want to have a successful, online business, then that ranking number will never get you there.
The only thing that will be the catapult to your success is staying on course, reviewing the lessons over and over and over and doing exactly as Kyle and Carson teach you. This is the path to success ... not the ranking.
The ranking simply lets other people know how active you are within the WA community insofar as it relates to communicating with other members. It does nothing to help you build your sites or build your revenue streams.
Focus, focus, focus ...

Well said, Cathy. Following your lessons will make you successful, not a high ranking here. Even Kyle says so!
You can click on the blue rank box next to your profile picture and it will give you the metrics that your rank score is based upon. The bar graphs will give you a little encouragement as to how much help you are to the community. The numbers fluctuate every day. Don't worry about it.
If you're talking about the rankings here at WA, you shouldn't be to worried about that. Your main concern should be your business. Isn't that what your here for to build a solid business and be able to work from home?
It's great to be active at WA and ask questions, answer questions, network with other WA'ers, and most importantly help others.
I highly recommend everyone do that especially if you sign people into WA because that's a part of your business, but the rankings shouldn't play a part on your emotions. It's just a number. I wish all the best.
Thank you for your input and I understand what your saying , it's a case of if there not of any substance why have them ? I thought that the ranking were to see how well you were doing with your business ..
Actually there is, from my perspective the rankings here keep people active in the community. People tend to help more if they get rewarded.
You are correct. The rankings do help people stay active. It's good to be involved within the community ... pay it forward. It's also good to manage your time and focus on building, tweaking and improving your sites. God Bless!
Judith, I just got into the 290s as well and I'm still there. I've seen rankings jump up once or twice before and Kyle even mentioned something happened one of the instances. I think if I'm not going to be that productive on my site at least be productive in the community and the rankings indicate that. So I hope to see your rankings headed back in a positive direction.

Your WA ranking is of no consequence whatsoever. I think it only shifts people's focus from devoting more time and energy towards building their own business and more importantly, their Google ranking.
So right, Ade. There are so many members every single day lamenting their unsatisfactory ranking. Mine has slipped from mid 30's, because I haven't had much time to be on here. But I am on here when, and only when I have the time.
