January Has Been A Slow Month.
So after a very successful November and December getting a lot of commissions, I now find myself in January and the sales have started to plummet this month compared to Nov/Dec.
I suspect most people after Christmas are slightly tighter this month. I also guess it depends on what niche you are in, as I’m sure some people really do well in January.
Does anyone else find the start of year hard to make affiliate commissions? It would be interesting to know how everyone else gets on during the opening months of a new year.
Thanks
J

Yeah, my month's earnings are like 4 times smaller than in December. In my case it can be due to not all my posts being updated to 2020 so less traffic, also could be the algorithm (if there's a decrease in traffic).
If everything else is fine/normal, then yeah people are just on a tighter budget after the holidays. Plus on vacations, or saving for Valentine's etc. Don't worry, usually January months are a lot slower than Nov-Dec.
Thanks Zarina, that’s very reassuring! I’ll keep updating and creating content so hopefully will start to pick up again!
I will keep looking back on this as I would like to hear some of the answers. Just starting out a guy always wonders right.

It is the doldrums month after the holiday season!
Sure is Jeffery! It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one feeling like this. Gives me hope for the the upcoming months!
Oh yeah--we should all be rocking come springtime!
