What are the best options for content protection? To prevent people right-clicking or using inspect elements on your website for example?

Nothing is bulletproof; if they intentionally want to copy your content, they'll find a way. And it is not difficult even with the right-clicking or other tools.

There's also a tendency for tools or plugins to slow your website and put your visitors off.

If someone steals your copy, you can let Google know. So save yourself the trouble of that.

You can use a plugin called WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click which is good.

just note that this is good for those who don't know too much there is no real foolproof way as there are ways though it may take longer to copy the posts or whatever they want.

For but most this plugin is a great deterrent

Hi Thanks for the recommendations. I am trying to minimise plugins because of potential conflicts and slow down. Someone mentioned adding some code to disable right click also.

Yes I understand if someone with experience really wants your content they will get it. Having something basic to start off with will at least help slow things down a little.

yea most welcome hopefully someone with coding skills can come in and give you some CSS to add but remember it is not the amount of plugins that necessarly slow you down it is the coding within the plugin and at times some plugins may also clash with each other when the didn't before most often due to updates.
If you use site kit by google you don't need that as you can still get all the same info on GSC plus sitekit actually slows your website down as well.

I have around 19 plugins and my sitespeed in in the high 95 plus. so again some will say too many plugins can slow down your site just work our which plugins you really need and use them. At times it is trial and effort.

What you can to to test it out as you are premium and can host up to three domains you can get site support to create a staging site which is an exact replica of your oringial site and you can use that to experiment without affecting your real site.

Once all is ok then you know what to use or what plugins can be taken down.

Here is a quick video from Eric on staging site

I will check out sitekit and the video you shared. Thanks for mentioning how many plugins you have, its good to know that you can have extra plugins and still have a fast site. What do you use to check your site speed?

If your website is new would it be best not to connect with Google search console until you have made some changes regarding the new HCU update?

GSC and GA measure your website's performance; it is your action on your website, your choice of keywords, and the content you write. This is my understanding.

You also want to read what Kyle has noted in your previous question.

Thanks

You are welcome, Joseph :)

There have been many updates with Google but the latest one seems to be affecting niche websites. What are WA best solutions for these Google's latest updates for current niche

Hi Joseph, If you search here on WA for "Google Updates" you will find a lot of information. Here is one of them that I found for you - Best as always,

Simon

Thanks i will have a look

When things change, be willing to change. Google has made it clear they are going after long tail content. They have also put a high level of importance on advertising.

If you want to understand how to benefit from Google, undestand that. :)

Appreciate the feedback, thanks!

Don't rely solely on Google; share on social and build an email list.

I agree, diversifying helps, thanks.

Less analysis and push more content. We may have to wait till the dust is settled.

Thanks for the reply, interesting times.

Yup, indeed :)

Hi is this still relevant today that Magistudios did for local seo in 2024? Premium Local SEO 2018: 1st Steps to Ranking? If not is there an updated one?

I cannot find the class. Can you perhaps give us the link? Thanks :)

Thank you, I appreciate it.

It is a good practice always to cross-reference findings.

In what sense?

Thanks, i will have a look at this link.

The sense I mean is in respect to the methods and what Magistudios taught back then. Have things changed? Do the methods still work? Or is there an updated version or methods for local SEO?

I would leave a note in the comments for Jay or forward a private message. I will have to watch it before I can comment.

Ok, I left a message in the comments. I will try private messaging also. Thanks

Np :) And you're welcome

Jay replied:

Yes, as most of this is evergreen based which means the techniques still work today.

Thank you, Joseph :) I appreciate it.

If a keyword that's got the less than that sign: < is it good because it says great but is 0 QSR?

"<10 - AVG" means that Google currently lacks sufficient data; however, this may change in the future.

The QSR is zero, indicating no competition. Is this consistent with your niche? Is it a genuine keyword? If so, perform a Google search to see what appears on the first page. This can provide valuable insights.

Good point, thanks for the reply. Yes, its a genuine keyword and is consistent with my niche. I will try the google search.

You're welcome :) Please keep us updated on your progress.

If it makes sense to your business, and it would add value to your readership, that is fine.

Just do know that if it is a longer tailed (longer phrase) keyword, you will naturally be targeting all of the keywords internal to the phrase. :)

Ok, great thanks for the reply!
