Joshua D Schwass had been working full time as a Peers Support Client Advocate in mental health since 2012 and had a myriad of other jobs prior to his internet endeavors.

In his early years Joshua had struggled with addiction and had made a few terrible choices that ended him in a state facility for drug addiction in 1998. Since that time he struggled to find a decent wage paying job. He ended up going back to school in 2008 to become an LCDC (License Chemical Dependency Counselor) and ended up working in mental health as an individual in recovery to provide hope to others and advocate on their behalf. For many years he had always felt helping people was the greatest gift but it was an emotional one.

Through the years he had always felt there was something out there, something in cyber space, just something out there that he would find one day to fulfill a dream he had since he was a kid, and that was being rich and famous one way or another. IN his adult life he began checking online off and on for something, something he could do to make money and this is where another chapter in his life begins….

It wasn’t easy in the beginning when his efforts to find freedom became a passion
In 2012, Joshua was working in the field of mental health and his wife at the time worked for a mega computer company, and always harped on him that he wasn’t doing enough to help provide for the family, that she was the one carrying all the weight. Burdened with his own guilt and shame he always put others before himself.

They were raising two kids and life was hectic. Joshua worked full time and provided most of the caregiving for the children as his wife worked and vowed her career takes precedence over family. Joshua could never accept this and knew in his heart there had to be an easier way to have the ability to work less and spend more time home with the kids. Although working full-time, taking care of the house, the kids, and catered to his wife, she never saw it and felt he could do more, to get another job, to be more of a provider.

Desperate to find a way out, he continued looking online for a way to make enough money to quit his day job and continued wishing to hit it big. His endeavors lead him on a wild goose chase for almost 4 years. He purchased dozens of Internet marketing courses. He studied the top marketers online and how they were making their millions. He worked 12 to 15 hours every day for months online on top of working 40hrs a week plus taking care of house and kids. When he really started to get motivated , his job let him go and his wife left him. His motivation depleted and he staggered. Lost and confused. Moving forward was a very difficult thing but he still managed to continue seeking out his dream of working less, earning more, being well off and being with his kids more.

Joshua understood how hard it is to get started without the help of someone who’s been through it all but didn’t trust anyone. He continued to try to do it all by himself until he came to Wealthy Affiliates where he is slowly digesting what he is learning. Joshua is still dedicated to making a difference in his life and other people’s lives when he can. He continues searching for the good life, and he still feels it in his heart that one day he will achieve his biggest dreams ever.
